where should i begin.......this game is terrible for what it claims to offer. lets see...... trading future draft picks doesnt work cant test out created plays they got rid of zoom in mode on animated player when calling plays trading PERIOD in this game is terrible cant edit plays on the fly hardly any tutorial CAPlay feature community/discussion board is dead wolverinestudios website and discord is dead they charged 40 dollars for a games thats worth maybe 20 PSF 2025 even with its shortcomings offers a better coaching/GM experience than this game was told its basically a "math" game........wth????? its 2024 im pretty sure wolve studios can improve on field player design. players on field look worst that 10 yard fight on NES. Wolvey Studios improve on field players sprites, trading logic(draft day and during season) fix your create a play and playbook feature and please and a fuction for testing said plays or a practice plays feature.
Steam page is basically false advertising. You can get better football sims off the app store. If you are looking to scratch the itch of a deep football sim/manager game, keep looking.
This review is based on my overall experience with DDSPF games. If you are a big fan of sports management games and would like to be a general manager of American football team then look no further. The game is fully customized it lets you take over an existing NFL team or you can create your own team. You can also create your own football universe in Sandbox mode and act as commissioner. Add your own logos, player photos, edit names & teams etc. The best part of the game for me though is Multiplayer option. Once you try it then you don't go back. It sucks you in. You compete against other human GMs. Discord channel helps you execute trades, participate in a draft, game recaps and talk smack with other managers. Online leagues have their own html site which you'll find yourself keep checking out on the go during your working hours in case some trade idea might come up:) Getting started in online league might be a bit overwhelming at first but you can always ask your AI coaches to setup gameplans and playbooks for you until you get more familiar with it. Also for me one of the best feature is that you can watch your game plan unfold in 2D view. I feel like this aspect of the game is underappreciated by many GMs who just prefer instant result and we are lucky to have this feature because after starring at numbers and letters for hours you want some visual reward. The 2d view is good enough to give you an idea of what happened on field. Worth noting is that developers of the game are pretty active on forums and discord channel so if you have some questions or feedback on the game they will listen and help you out. So don't hesitate and get the game today. Demo won't do the justice for Multiplayer league so if you are planning on getting online experience then get the full game. There is about 5 reputable online leagues that I know and some of them are looking for new GMs. You could be the next one...
Eine Unterscheidung in All-Pro und Pro Bowl wäre auch cool, genau wie Awards wie Comeback Player of the Year oder Coach of the Year. Die Drafts sind auch etwas random.
I enjoy being commissioner and simming. Much quicker than simming a Madden franchise.
First, if you have never played a football GM sim, certainly get this game. For context, my experience is I've long played the Front Office Football series, OOTP, Football Coach College Dynasty, and recently Draft Day Sport College Basketball, which I enjoyed and trying the Draft Day Pro series for first time with 2025. The off season feels like a madden franchise offseason, which for me is lacking depth in the drafting/evaluation process. Front Office Football sets the bar for me for drafting (particularly depth of player evaluation), trading, free agency. This game doesn't feel as polished as you would expect with so many prior versions, nor intuitive. That said, if people like Madden Franchise and haven't played other football sims, this is not a bad game. It runs well and fast. In fairness, I'm not into play creation/play calling so can't speak to that part of the game.
Top Sim series in general. League Commissioners can host online leagues really well.

Buy it on sale only. It's fun for a bit, but the salary cap is broken which makes FA bidding terrible. Draft scouting is teadious. Its fun for a season or two, until the FA issues take over. Computer AI is poor too. Trading AI is poor (star Qb=3rd round pick, Aging RB 3rd round pick,
I've never watched the American Football, but I wanted to try something else after playing Football Manager for a long time. It's a good game, now without the weaknesses. But it's a great game if you want to take your failing franchise to the Super Bowl win.
