Great minesweeper game with gravity. I had a lot of fun playing through the campaign. There is some guessing needed. Especially in challenge mode you need to guess a lot in some levels - which can be quite frustrating... But overall for me it was absolutely worth the price!
Pillage towers while making sure not to drop it on your head by clicking on bombs. Although there are several modes, you must first play one tower in the campaign to unlock them. The game will take you through seven different zones. Each zone contains many towers with varying numbers of floors. Towers come in a variety of themes, however this is just decorative and has no effect on gameplay. The objective is to beat a tower by finishing all floors. This does not have to be completed in one sitting; you can save and resume later. The entire gameplay consists of clicking on crates scattered throughout the room. Each area or puzzle has a unique shape and size, but the basic mechanic doesn’t change. You always begin by clicking on a random crate. It will either smash apart and set off a chain reaction through all empty crates or explode. This is just terrible luck, and there is nothing you can do but try again. You will not lose immediately since you can make a mistake seven times. A chain reaction will continue until it reaches risky crates that might contain bombs. That's when you'll notice numbers around the crates. These numbers indicate how many crates nearby contain a bomb. Your task is to look at numbers and utilize logic and flags to label crates with bombs. The number of bombs in the current room is always known. The challenge comes from the numbers that change as you smash boxes. While the marked crate does not lose its flag, it can fall in such a way that it causes a problem. In this circumstance, you have no choice but to guess and hope nothing goes wrong. This is why you have seven lives. However, the overall goal is not to mark all bombs, but rather to clear all crates in a column and reach the stage's bottom. It is possible to complete a stage without placing a single flag, but you will not receive as many points. You also get bonus points if you get to the bottom before the time limit runs out. Once you reach the bottom, you can proceed to the next stage or mark the remaining bombs to earn even more points. Empty crates sometimes contain coins. These are used in a shop that shows up after a few floors. The shop includes numerous merchants, each with their own three unique items. One of the most useful is the repair which restores one's health. Items are utilized during a stage to make it easier. Some of them are snoopers who can detect a bomb or smashers who destroy all empty crates in a column. Another surprise during floors are mini-games. They’re short and come in various forms, and they award you with a free item. The better you do, the better the reward. A reward awaits at the bottom of a tower. Aside from unlockable themes that appear at random throughout gameplay, you will also gain access to classic and challenge modes. Both modes contain multiple single floors that you can aim to complete with a perfect score, which includes removing all crates and flagging all bombs. Although the layout remains the same, bomb placement is random. Because you only have one life, a lot of it is determined by chance. The difference between the two modes is that crates do not fall in classic.
The developer did a really good job making minesweeper look awesome. So if you're a minesweeper fan, i really do RECOMMEND this game. I would try to explain in more detail. But, just look at the description. *Active Developer/Good Support/Updates
succesfull, enhanced and deepest version of minesweeper. gravity is brilliant idea for this classic.
https://youtu.be/2veQVyTWrSc The addition of gravity changes the formulas needed to successfully solve classic minesweeper puzzles. The dungeon crawl hooks don't add much in their current form.
As the tagline states this is indeed minesweeper with gravity. It is well built and designed with enough twists to make things interesting. If you enjoyed minesweeper back in the day this is definately worth your time and money.
Don't play if you don't have good luck because there are a lot of scenarios that require you to straight up guess on a 50/50 chance and that just feels bad. It could be fun if they fixed or reduced the amount of 50/50 guessing there is but otherwise it's just frustrating. Additionally, the mini games are not fun and don't prove to be helpful usually. And then you get to the floor "Of Distrust" where it gives you only 7 and 8s for everything, how can you ever do that kind of floor? This game is awful
Crazy fun minesweeper game! I should have purchased this months ago.
A fun enough game, with some interesting twists to it, but I don't feel it hits the mark perfectly. The core mechanic is that when you break a crate, the crates above it fall. This also means the numbers can change, so it throws me a bit. but nothing serious. Once you reach any bottom square you can move on, however getting more of the crates either removed or flagged will increase your score. Obviously getting them all correct give you the best bonuses. In addition, you have a certain number of mistakes you can make per tower, which is explained as damage to the tower. Do too much damage, you fail, obviously. The total resets when you start a new tower, and each tower has a different number of levels. I have seen a range of from five to ten. The game has upgrades you can buy, including repairing some of the tower, when needed, as well as others that might reveal information, add time to the timer, or others. So far that's all pretty fun, though it lacks the ability to really examine mistakes you have made. I think a simple ability to go back in time one step (but the same move has to be made to move forward) would be a nice addition to help understand what the mistake was, but that is a minor point. In addition there are bonus games. Luckily you can skip these, as the one I have played was a poorly explained rhythm game, something I am not good at, and given that the game targets people who like mine-sweeper, I question the choice. At the best, I think you win bonus upgrades, like the ones you can buy at the stores. But as I said, you can skip these, so it isn't a big deal. For me, the weakest part of the game is the graphics, which simply do not need to be so rough around the edges. I have never tried a mine-sweep based game with such hard-to-grasp visuals. There is simply no need for this style of game to look so poor. ADDENDUM: There is a setting called Basic Tileset, which gives you a cleaner image. That said, I am going to keep at it, at the base it is fun. You can unload additional game types, and themes, which seem to do something, but I'm not sure what yet. I may come back and explain if I figure them out. As is though, and easy thumbs up. Nothing great, but a fun little time waster. ADDENDUM: Another hour and some minutes in to this, and I do have to say, still having fun, but it is far from perfect. In fact fans of minesweeper might find how often you end up having to guess frustrating, but it is a part of how this game works. Also the mini-games, in general, are no fun. You can shut them off, or skip them though, so that is good. ADDENDUM: Four more hours in, and it has become all guessing halfway thru every level. Drains the fun out of it. It isn't like there is a learning curve, it becomes just flat guessing, and at this level, the third set of towers, the number of bombs is so high it is almost impossible to progress.
A great variation of minesweeper, with a wide variety of modes including classic.
