Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.83/day in the week to Jul 21 → 5.2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Down with the Ship is a strategic auto‑battler about assembling your own hull, stuffing it with powerful hardware, and sending it to war against other players.
Connect hull pieces to expand your ship and make room for modules. Each round offers a new set of parts: guns, reactors, shields, cursed relics, and more. Buy what fits, lock what you need, and learn when a cheap common beats a flashy rare.
Positioning is the core of the game. Move parts around to manage resources, connect item effects, and stack bonuses. Build something reliable, or commit to one risky combo and hope it fires first.
Battles play out automatically, but you decide when your ship is ready to fight. Your current build is matched against stored ships from other players. Win, adapt, and keep going until your run breaks apart.
Each captain changes how you play, with different hull shapes, passives, and build paths. Lean into their faction’s tools, or mix in parts from other factions to make something less predictable.

Ranked Versus: Face player-made ships and push for 10 wins before your lives are spent. Climb the leaderboard with every successful run.
Casual Versus: Test builds against player-made ships without worrying about rank.
Endless Run: Hit 10 wins? Keep going until your ship loses 5 lives.

I want to like this game, I really do. It starts out interesting while you are working out the mechanics. Then when you've worked out the mechanics, you realise: 1> It's stupidly easy to get to the 10th win (which is where ranking ends) 2> Game is stupidly imbalanced. A large part of this is due to the fact you can stack lvl 1 items 3> A few items are pretty much essential after battle 20+ like "Diesel Power" 4> Basically how your run goes is more based on the luck of what pops up on the market than anything you do, assuming basic competency. 5> After around battle 25ish, almost all the builds you face are '1 shot kill builds' based around point 2, with like 5 Weapons computers + multiple fuel pumps + True shots to deliver one massive shot right at the start of the battle. This could be a really fun little game but it just starts falling over hard once you hit 20-30 hour mark.
Great theme and the characters/factions have a solid set of interesting playstyles. Haven't played enough to judge the balance but im certainly having a lot of fun with it in Coop. Worth a look if you're interested in inventory management style autobattlers.
Backpack battles on roids
well when it was in early/demo mode was good after release game boils down to 1 pattern and only 1 pattern to play pick the captain with radiation and cooldown reduction if your not getting your items to 0.01 you lose 100% of the time after round 5-6 as enemy will reduce your max hp to 1 in 0.3s and then you lose as soon as round starts basically
Amazing game. Been playing a lot with my boyfriend on co-op, it was pretty buggy before, but it's slowly getting fixed over time. So many funny possible builds to curse upon others. Achievement hunting for game is also good, fun to play solo as well.
What if FTL was 1000 times more replayable and pvp? honestly, amazing game
Fantastic auto battler game. Been having a lot of fun so far. I hope that they can introduce like a Multiplayer Lobby List so that people can join games for the 2 vs. 2, instead of only a lobby code. My only criticism so far about the game is the (AI?) voice acting, a few of the VA + lines they say are cringy.
Personally I would like more to do other than reconfiguring my ship at the shop between battles, but for its limited scope, the game does it well.
I tried to demo before eventually buying this. Definitely play the demo! Its a very good indicator of what you can expect from the full game. The dev's deserve praise for such a strong demo experience. For its price, its a very fun autobattler, with plenty of fun, satisfying mechanics to play with. As a kid who loved Lego and space ships, this is kinda the perfect game for me lol. I've loved trying different builds, even if i know its probably bad, but enjoying hitting 10 wins regardless. I'm excited for the future of this game. More shop pivots for cool builds would be fun, and the stuff on the roadmap is quite exciting too.
