Dots eXtreme
A mind blowing puzzle game which will set your brain's power to the maximum. 10/10.
Pros about the game:
+As I said above, it will blow your mind. +Really well made levels, it requires concentration in each one of the levels. +HARD! It is hard indeed, cause most of the times you will spent them trying to find a way to connect a dot without blocking the other. +You can complete tutorials to earn tokens to help you in the main levels.
Cons about the game:
-None. that's right, none!
Personal Opinion
I would recommend this to everyone who wants to take his brain to the challenge, and try to achieve the most of it. Give it a try, it's worth the 2 bucks.
Good enough puzzle game in my book
Dots eXtreme is a simple, minimalist mobile app-like pathing puzzle game where you must connect corresponding dots with lines... it's a mobile game that's been ripped off many, many times and this one is no exception. It also doesn't work on newer builds of Windows 10 and 11, the developers have not bothered to keep the game properly maintained and functional. The game hangs on launch and must be terminated through Windows Task Manager. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. This looks and feels like a mobile app, but I wasn't able to find it on the app stores. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all). Regardless, for all intents and purposes this is a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Dots eXtreme has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for completing the tutorial, and only around 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Since the game no longer works on modern versions of Windows, this will never improve. Unethically, the developers have left this on the Steam store in an unplayable and broken state. This is harmful to Steam and to gamers, because it takes a share of the marketing space and visibility away from other games. It's polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuine games and for genuine indie developers who put months or years into making proper games find an audience. Dots eXtreme is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but because it's broken, and because of the other issues it has even if it worked, this is impossible to recommend. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam.
It's a lot like the Android game called Flow, but with more mechanics. It's a fun puzzle game, and ever since Flow updated to no longer support my ancient phone, I've missed it dearly. But now there's Dots eXtreme, which not only fills the gap Flow left, but improves upon it with more mechanics, tons of puzzles, and unlockable Themes(I like the Nature one). There are many grid sizes and you can start on whichever you please, which is great. Music is okay, if a tad repetitive, but that's a minor gripe as far as I'm concerned. Also, the games name kinda sucks(sorry). For a quick description of the gameplay, the purpose is to drag a line from one dot to its matching color dot. All dots must match up and all squares must be used. It's a fun puzzle game with a steady difficulty curve, though if you want a bigger challenge you can just jump to a larger grid. I definitely recommend this game to any puzzle fans.
Nice
一笔画连线游戏,玩法很传统,特点是量大,每一个图都有60关。前面中小图是最有意思的,后面大图感觉不用提示基本都没法玩。
