Door Kickers: Action Squad

Really fun for some rounds in between other stuff. Some mechanics could be a little bit more polished, but is has the charm of older Games, where you had to work with the little details in movement and object behavior to succeed. Weapons have a realistic feel to them and tactical approaches get as much reward as a 2D Shoot 'em up can give them I guess. I like the game way better than Broforce, which I also enjoyed to some degree. A big plus here is, that you get a DLC and Workshop Maps with Coop Functionality. Loads of content for the price of the game. Where Police Stories was exhaustingly pacifistic and unfairly balanced, this game captures the Police Vibe very well, while giving it enough "Action Movie" to make it a fun ride. The Soundtrack is also great, lots of 80's Groove in there.
