Prices

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

classic
Doom 3 is a classic, an unique take on the franchise focusing on horror elements, with by far the best depiction of Hell and Demons in a video game that I have seen. The BFG Edition provides great value, offering Doom 3 & both of its Expansions, as well as the first two games. That said, and this is controversial opiniion, I think the game is not a full masterpiece. One disclaimer before starting, the game doesn't have subtitles. You can install the Source Port mod and a submod for it to bring subtitles to the base game, but I haven't gotten them to work for the expansions. https://github.com/RobertBeckebans/RBDOOM-3-BFG/ I'd fully recommend using the port as it provides numerous graphical improvements. The rest of the review is based on my experience with it. On Veteran difficulty, the game is a fun shooter, mostly well-balanced but leaning on the easier side. The price it asks, on a discount, is an absolute bargain. The shooting is fun, the game features great variety and provides with a very good amount of equipment to tackle any challenges it throws. It lets you play the way you want, with almost every weapon (fists being the exception) remaining relevant and useful throught the entire game. However, in practice, this tends to result in players sticking to a few "fun" (optimal) weapons which makes the game rather repetitive. The expansions worsen that by adding the Super Shotgun which is in all but name, a cheat weapon, capable of one-shotting almost all enemy types. That said, no one forces you to pick it up, nor to use it. The super-abilities featured in the base game and the Resurrection of Evil expansion are great. I think the base gamme artefact is a perfect addition and a well-balanced one at that. The Resurrection of Evil artefact is... overpowered, triviliazing any fight in the game... and it becomes increasingly stronger so as the game progresses. It is also fully required for beating the final boss which is otherwise a nightmarish experience. The game also offers you plenty of charges for it. The level designs are solid, though the actual variety is lacking. You'll mostly be fighting in close quarters, tight and often poorly lit hallways against very repetitive enemy types. You do have a flashlight to compensate. Across the levels are scattered logs, notes and videos which make for decent world-building, though most are filler which doesn't offer much of note beyond codes for optional supply closets with extra ammo. Once collected, you can view any of these items in your pad, at any time. You can also replay them. That's a great way to handle it. Of the enemies, 10/10 design, but they get rather repetitive, especially if you play the expansion. For the most part, they just rush you and their slow projectile attacks can be rather easily dodged, assuming the environment permits you to move. Their ambush tactics can be cool but it gets old. There aren't tactics or cool abilities and even on Veteran, most die too fast to feel threatening. That said, this issue is in large part due to the game being fair. There aren't hit-scan enemies (Though a few can be very annoying in the base game), most projecticles can be shoot, the game does not cheat. It values your time and lets you enjoy it the way you want. I think that's something worth praising. The enemy added by Resurrection of Evil is underwhelming. It's just an imp with green projectiles and they represent 60% of the enemies you're facing. It worsens the experience in my opinion. The Boss fights are bad, plain bad. All of them. They're bullet sponges, which you kite around. A few them have mechanics attached to defeat but it still sums up to just shooting for four minutes with no feedback until a cinematic triggers. Shockingly, the game doesn't make use of its great theme track during any of them, in fact, the music during fights is lacking. The game doesn't make you *feel* like a monster-killing machine... but it absolutely makes you one. Personally, the horror elements, whilst welcome, weren't all that scary. I think the game's starting sequence makes the single best use of it. I don't think the expansions use them well at all and the game mostly devolves to shooting enemies after the first half, with horror sequences being reduced to just jump scares by one enemy type. In terms of characters, DOOM 3 is pretty thin. You're coming here to shoot demons and while some attempts were made, there's really no memorable interactions. The best "character" are the little support drones which are very powerful. I wish there was a bit more and we could see the facility put up a fight... anywhere. Of the story itself, it's okay, nothing deep. I think the base game did a better job than the expansions. In fact, Resurrection of Evil's story felt like just a plot device. The many notes you can find scattered about are a cool idea but the execution is lacking. They don't tell you anything interesting and it's hard to get attached to a pile of dead corpses you can do nothing about. There are a couple survivors, which is a neat touch. Overall, the expansions are just "More Doom 3", if you had fun with the base game, you'll like them too. Solid length at around 16 hours of gameplay for Doom 3 & its expansions combined. Performance-wise, I've suffered no crashes, nor freezes. You can't alt-tab out of the game in Fullscreen mode, so keep that in mind. One notable issue with the game is poor checkpointing, mostly in the Resurrection of Evil expansion. However, you can make manual saves at any time and there is no cap on them. To sum it, if you're looking for a fun shooter with a grim touch, Doom 3 is a very solid choice. I give it 8.5/10.
doom es doom nada mas que desir
The positive review is for the original Doom 3 and its expansion, play that instead. BFG edition changes things about the game's design that are not okay with most players or fans. Less enemies for one, and it makes the game easier in a variety of ways even though Doom 3 is already fairly easy (feel free to play on Veteran difficulty) Doom 3 has a bit of a cult following, it's a pretty enjoyable horror shooter (though I wouldn't really call it horror unless you scare easy) very atmospheric, lore and story rich, there's a fair amount of mods for it too. Easily your money worth. BFG edition unfortunately tampers with the original design by lighting up everything, giving you far more ammo (that wasnt even an issue in the original) and taking away enemies.
