Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 3.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

8 / 10 - game still nails the survival horror atmosphere and has memorable creepy moments all these years (like the Lost Soul introduction cutscene). I would recommend the game for nostalgic gamers, Doom collector fans, survival horror enthusiasts, and video game history fans. For those used to a faster paced shooter game, I would not recommend. I dock the BFG version several points due to making the environments somewhat brighter/more accessible and allowing the flashlight to be equipped while shooting as the only option. It would've been great to preserve the "original 2004" flashlight experience as a togglable setting instead of removing altogether. It would be a true remaster instead of what seems like a "correcting the perceived wrongdoings of Doom 3." The 2004 Doom 3 flashlight didn't make much sense in a futuristic setting but it was more intense/nightmare inducing having to decide between flashlight or weapon at critical points. In 2026, the game feels like a forgotten entry in the Doom franchise but there is no denying its place in video game history. Doom 3 was a major mind blowing technologically leap and I will always respect Doom 3 for what it did and how it made me feel at the time. It is truly one of those games that opened your eyes to the possibilities in gaming and I will never forget that.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I remember back when Doom 3 was released it required a beefy gpu. Today I can run it on my Intel igpu. Blows my mind.
Unbelievable how well Doom 3 BFG still holds up. Even for its age it’s genuinely creepy at times, with great atmosphere, strong sound design, and mechanics that still feel solid. It’s honestly impressive how games used to be made; less noise, more focus, and you can feel the passion behind it. Highly recommended.
Bethesda slapping their logo on a game they never touched except to put their logo on it. Ultimate level of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bruh. "iT CoSts MuNNie oT PuBliSh!" It also costs money to move stuff from the store to my house. Does that mean I made the milk?
DOOM 3: BFG Edition is a great way to experience one of the most unique entries in the DOOM franchise. Forget the pure action of the newer games — DOOM 3 is a horror-focused FPS that trades speed and chaos for atmosphere, tension, and a terrifying journey through the UAC Mars facility. The game may be different from classic DOOM, but its dark corridors, incredible lighting, sound design, and oppressive atmosphere still make it a memorable experience. This BFG Edition improves the original package by bringing DOOM 3, the excellent Resurrection of Evil expansion, the new Lost Mission campaign, and even the classic DOOM and DOOM II. It also adds technical improvements, better widescreen support, and quality-of-life changes that make the game easier to enjoy today. The gameplay is slower and more methodical than other DOOM games, focusing on exploration, enemy encounters, and managing your resources. The demons are less about overwhelming you with numbers and more about creating constant pressure in a dark environment where every corner could hide something waiting to attack. The BFG Edition also changes one of the most famous mechanics of the original: the flashlight. Being able to use it while holding a weapon makes the game more accessible, even if it slightly reduces the tension created by having to choose between seeing in the dark and defending yourself. Some people dislike the slower pace compared to classic DOOM, but if you enjoy atmospheric sci-fi horror FPS games, DOOM 3 remains a fantastic experience. The sound design, monster encounters, and feeling of isolation on Mars are still impressive today. A different DOOM, but an excellent one. Welcome to the UAC. Your shift is about to begin.
mfs will tell you that this is the worst game in the series but theyre WRONG i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love doom 3 i think its one of the best doom games its just like different than the others
Ehh, the game is OK. My first time playing DOOM... Very repetitive. There's lore through reading PDAs and such which is cool - not that I was interested really - but mainly it's just shooting demons while going from A to B. Lots of corridors. It kind of drags on. Not exactly my thing but I finished it anyway. I'm definitely not in any rush to play another DOOM game.
