Doodle God

Not as fun as I remember. I played this back when it was a phone game. One day I randomly had the urge to play this again and found it on the steam store. Puzzle-wise it is still as I remember, but everything else got worse. Yes, the phone game was never as elaborate as this, but rather than being "amazed" and "wowed" by the animations, they rather annoy me, because they slow down gameplay and take you out of it. What's more, locking certain recipes behind certain puzzles is also kind of annoying. The kicker is, I tried doing one of the actual puzzles and every time I get a solution, the game crashes. Every. Single. Time. Reliably. Considering this came out in 2015, they've had 10+ years to fix most glitches. This clearly didn't happen. No matter which angle you look at this game from, it doesn't live up to it's legacy, hence why I cannot recommend it. I'll give Doodle God a 5/10.

This is looks like a bad mobile game port. I tried to do a puzzle but it kept crashing. So I tried to do a quest. You have to combine different items to create other items but there's no rhyme or logic to it.

Fun, chill game that makes you really think and try to figure out how to combine everything to get the new elements needed, Will absolutely play again and again

bought out of nostalgia, ended up just being a terrible phone port that often didnt work as expected and lacked the lustre I once enjoyed
