I like it.
Just like with the previous game in the series, Doodle God, we have only 1366x768 as the max resolution, Quests and Puzzles crashes the game but not so often like in Doodle God. The Steam achievements here pop up after quitting the game too making timestamps look weirdly incorrect: Why is that happening? "This is a way developers programmed achievements. There is an API call which needs to be called straight after achievement progress is sent to the server https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/api/ISteamUserStats#StoreStats If developer doesn't call StoreStats, achievements will update after client closes" Well, JoyBits are too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lazy to fix this or maybe they're just greedy? Cause I have no idea why they limit the bandwidth making impossible to download any of their games from Steam at full speed. I have 10Mbps download speed but every their game downloads at 2Mbps max while the games itselves are 150-300 Mb. I think this is the reason, they intentionally programmed achievements this way to sync them several times, or as less as possible, just to save their own internet traffic on their server. I mean if the game has 150 achievements it should call 150 separate times to a game server to sync them properly. And it's not large. Trying to save traffic for games with 20 or 9 achievements is completely a mess... I like the series but I don't like the greedy companies!
Doodle Devil comes across as a limited version of Doodle God, so probably only try it if you like the original. The combinations involved are generally mean spirited. I like the aesthetics and the mini-games are not bad. There's enough of a tonal shift that I feel this works well as a spin-off rather than having been released as DLC, albeit marginally so. Bleh. I'm giving this a positive review as I had fun playing it. I completed all the Steam Achievements. This game comes across as being far better than Doodle Creatures in terms of writing and depth of content. It is somehow also cheaper, although still generally overpriced.
muy interesante el concepto
💋
https://backloggd.com/u/TGA_backloggd/review/4794410/ An expansion of the previous game, Doodle God, but a focus on "evil" things that can involve all kinds of weapons, political establishments and also magic and monsters. Unlike Doodle God, this one had a bunch of interesting mini-games inside this one along with the main game, which is still a fun little time-waster.
Demasiado corto sin el DLC
Do You Wanna Touch My Monkey?
Doodle Devil is like Doodle God, but eeeeviiiillllll and a lot less fleshed out. There are two episodes and a lot of unique elements that you won't find in the original like natural disasters or certain demons, but that's about it, it doesn't really do anything too special and probably should've been a DLC or add-on for Doodle God. It'll probably only take you a handful of hours to beat. I'll still recommend it, but only when it's on sale, otherwise, you're just burning money for no good reason.
