Addictive is not strong enough a word... The game is adorable, hard as nails, and you never know what weird Lovecraftian nonsense is going to pop up next. There is no joy like running a pack of hounds through a swamp full of spiders and tentacles, and then going back to sweep up the loot the mobs dropped after you manipulated them into murdering each other.
