This game is so scared but I like it

I just finished playing Don't Play This, and I am incredibly conflicted. I loved the demo. It had a great jump scare that almost knocked me out of my chair. When the full game came out, I picked it up right away. I didn't play it right away because of my backlog, but it was there for when I was ready to play. I only say this to convey how excited I was to play the full game. The concept is awesome. You log onto your computer, and your friend sends you some video clips that he found on the darknet. There are five videos. When you click on one... when you play the video, you play the video. It's a great concept. The demo was one of the videos. I played each of the videos. I would get a jump scare and moved on to the next video. There are a couple of mini-games on the computer. One is called Floppy Egg, which is like Flappy Bird... I suck at it. My record is 13. The other is this little retro horror game. Both are fun in their own ways. Something you might find on a person's desktop. I did something I do not normally do and went into the game with expectations because of how I felt about the demo. *Deep sigh...* I felt a little let down when I was done. Did I get jump scared? Oh yeah. Remember when I said, "Predictably..." The little videos felt...*pauses for the right words...* like snapshots of something that could have been more. I wanted to know why I was in that cell and who "went away." I wanted to know what was in the box and why I needed to get rid of it. I wanted to know why I woke up on a ghost ship. I wanted more backstory... a why... some context. Overall, the game was okay. I was jump scared. The clips were interesting in their own right, but I didn't come away from the full game with the same energy that I did from the demo, and I feel conflicted by that. Do I recommend it? Yes. Would I recommend buying it when it's on sale? Yes. All things aside, the graphics were great, the concept was fun, and I did get scared from time to time. The reason the score lands around a 5.5 out of 10 isn't because the game is bad. It's because every time it introduced an interesting idea, it ended before I felt invested. I wasn't disappointed by what was there—I was disappointed by what wasn't. For me, I would give this a solid 5.5 out of 10... bordering on a 6. It wasn't a bad game by any means. I just felt like there could have been a little more. The concept was awesome!

buat yang punya sakit jantung sangat amat direkomendasikan untuk main gem ini, hanya ada 5 episode tapi saya baru mampu 3/5, secara fisik saya aman secara mental saya sudah kena, kadang juga ngerasa roh sendiri ikutan keluar pas ah yasudahlah rating pribadi 10/10
