Domain Defense VR

Not played it too long yet, but I can tell this ticks all the boxes. I am a bit of a TD perfectionist (have to complete a level without letting any of the buggers through). So far, stuck on the first level - so a tough challenge - this will keep me going for some time. Recommended. (Noye to Devs, I was initially put off by the fact that it is 'roomscale' - I seriously do not want to walk around my room and stand up for long playing sessions - I play TD to kick back and relax. Happy to say that (so far) it works just fine seated - you can adjust the height and position of the table prior to play. So that's good. You may want to include seated as an option on the store page - I would have bought this game before, but was put off. I will not be the only one. I am on the Rift-S and motion controllers did not work for me, but it works ok with gamepad - would like to see touch controllers patched in though.)

While I'm personally not tha big of a fan of domain defense games, this one is charming. The VR dimension in which you can actually take a seat an oversee the battlefield gives a cool feeling as if you were an army general. The gameplay might be simple, but it works just well - I didn't encounter any bug, and the controls are intuitive. 7/10

I did not expect much but it is actually nice little game. I did not play any tower defense before so can't say how good it is in this sub-genre but in general it is fun and I am getting that "let's try one more level" itch. Graphics in VR - it is actually nicer than what the screenshots might suggest. Simple but neat. I had no problems playing, it was fluid, responsive, no bugs or crashes encountered. Good game to dive in for some quick fun but also for longer session trying several levels in a row.

Good little TowerDefense game - sadly abandoned. It requires some polish, which it will never get. (Like opponents' stats and HP bars, info on turrets,etc) Cool turrets. 5 hours fun if you like the TD genre.

Reverb G2 Game starts me in the middle of the map table.. Seemingly no way to recenter the screen.. unplayable

전형적인 타워디펜스입니다. 특징난것도 없고, 긴장감 들게 만드는 요소도 없고, 스테이지 하나가 너무 깁니다. 그냥 모니터로 하는것도 지루할것 같은데 그 과정을 VR로 하고 있다니... 이걸 VR로 할바엔 그냥 다른게임을 하는게 더 나을거란 생각이 반도 안가서 들겁니다. 조작감(이라고 부를것도 없지만)도 매우 불편하게 버튼을 '눌러'가면서 선택을 합니다. 물론 설정에서 바꿀순 있지만 게임 진행 중에선 전환 불가능합니다. 타워들은 몇개는 더 비싸야 하지 않나 싶은 타워도 있고, 가격의 10%도 안되는 효율을 가진 타워도 있습니다. 업그레이드를 얼마나 하든 상관 없이 타워 값과 동일하게 반환됩니다. 업그레이드 안하면 100% 환급받지만 한번이라도 하는 순간 되파는 금액은 절반 이하로 떨어집니다. 다들 폰 보느라 거북목 된다고 말하는데, 이걸 오랫동안 한 사람의 거북목을 이길순 없을겁니다. VR을 통해서 거북목이 된다라... 한숨밖에 안나옵니다...

A very well executed VR tower defense game. I was hooked on browser-based tower defense games a decade ago, so it’s pretty awesome to see the genre in VR. The graphics – models and animation – are great! It’s like a moving dollhouse, everything is nicely detailed, and looks great from afar, or when you lean close to look carefully… I found myself thoroughly inspecting the towers and enemies! Gameplay is as you’d expect: Enemies go from point A to point B, you put towers up to shoot at them and stop them. There are plenty of tower types, and lots of upgrades available for each type. There are no in-game instructions, so you’ll need to figure it out on your own through trial and error. Like any other tower defense game, it’s very repetitive. I got this in a low-cost bundle and didn’t know what to expect, but it was good enough to hold my attention for two hours straight. Definitely worth the price I paid! Full $8 asking price? Maybe for big fans of the tower defense genre. All others, catch it on sale, you should get plenty of fun out of it. Thumbs: UP!

Just got a Vive and only played the first two levels so far. It's fun and there's a lot to do but you're also just looking at the level half the time. The hands seem a little out of place and should probably change. There's a bunch of towers to choose from and every tower has a few final upgrades to select that add different abilities. The buttons are a little jankey but there is an option to hover and click a controller button instead which is great.
