In this retelling of Dante's origin story which is set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC Devil May Cry™ retains the stylish action.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.71/day in the week to Aug 25 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A decent game on its own, but a TERRIBLE Devil May Cry game.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Простенький слэшер, сюжет не замысловат (но имеет крутые идеи, которых нету в оригинальной вселенной ДМК), 7/10
surprisingly good, if this was a original IP and not a D.M.C game/reboot it would have been received better. solid 6.5/10
When the black sheep of the Devil May Cry first came out there was one question on everyone's minds: "Is this even a Devil May Cry game?" Well I'm here to answer that. You play as a dude named Dante, your brother is called Vergil (someone at Capcom was reading the Divine Comedy at the time), you are related to some guy called Sparda, you fight a demon dude called Mundus, your starting weapons are Rebellion, Ebony and Ivory, you get scored based on the variety of your attacks, the game is split into missions that can be replayed in order to get better rank and you collect various colored orbs that you can use to buy upgrades and revive yourself (with a score penalty), you have divinity statues and secret missions that can be found within the levels. In conclusion, technically this is a Devil May Cry game. So why the controversy? Well just look at the main guy. He looks nothing like the original dude and his personality couldn't be any more different. Alex Garland contributed to this and he's usually pretty good (with some stinkers) and I'd say this one sits right in the middle, maybe slightly bellow that. There are some good moments but the interactions between the main cast are usually bad and I started skipping them after a while just to get to Dante and the bosses interactions faster. While the new character designs are controversial the environmental art direction is amazing. You've got random stuff flying everywhere, cool architecture and warm colors. It's like a twisted version of a Giorgio de Chirico painting. On the technical side of things, it's a UE3 game and these have a very obvious look but it wasn't too distracting due to the art direction. It's also helped by the fact that this is a late 7th gen game so this PC port so the surfaces are a lot cleaner than earlier UE3 game. Trust me on that, I have th game on PS3 as well. The presentation is complete by the soundtrack which is aggressive electronic and industrial metal with a lot of tracks contributed by industrial band Combichrist. It's good stuff, give it a listen. Now to the gameplay. It's pretty good with some issues preventing it from being one of the most fun DMC games. Weapons are now split into three categories: fast angel weapons, slow but powerful devil weapons and neutral weapons which is all the guns and rebellion. You can have one devil weapon, one angel weapon and one gun equiped at any time. Your triggers (if playing with a controller which I recommend) switch your mode. LT is angel mode which uses your angel weapon (2 available), has the ability to pull you closer to your enemies (instead of a gun) and evading at the last minute gives you greater dodge distance. Devil mode uses devil weapons (2 available), pulls enemies towards you (instead of a gun) and dodging at the last minute increases your damage. This damage boost can then be greatly abused in to build up your style meter. Not pressing any triggers is the regular mode which uses the familiar Rebellion with a lot of its moves carried over from previous games and guns (3 available). You can switch weapons with the D Pad with each direction corresponding to a different weapon type. It sounds a bit complicated but it's very easy to figure out. I mean it should be, switching weapons mid combo is the key to a good score. Now about the issues I mentioned earlier. Two big ones really. First is that they removed the lock on feature. This means that quite often you are not hitting the enemy that you want to hit and it makes the guns and single enemy moves like the stinger a bit frustrating to use at times. The other issue is the camera. It's now a fully controllable 3rd person shooter type of affair and the FOV is fairly low considering the size of some of the arenas so sometimes I was getting hit by projectiles outside the screen. Good thing is that most projectile throwing enemies have audio queues so you might be able to avoid some of the on screen ones. Now the first issue was addressed in the "Definitive Edition" of the game. Only problem with that, it's not on PC and it's been so long I don't really think it will ever come here. For the second issue, I've found a workaround. I was browsing TCRF once and found that the game has a fully functional debug menu and one of the things the debug menu lets you do is change the FOV. A small disclaimer about the debug menu though: if it's enable and you start a new game it will unlock all the unlockable difficulties and if you beat any mission on any difficulty while these are unlocked it will give you all the achievements related to beating the game on that difficulty. If you want to avoid this create a new save and install the debug menu afterwards. I haven't seen anyone bring this up online so it probably wasn't noticed. Outside of combat there are platforming sections which use the angel and devil pull moves from combat along with a floating mechanic to get around levels. Overall the platform is more advanced and more fun than the real DMC games. The puzzles from the previous sections have been removed. Getting a good score in missions feels easier than previous games with the time and score requirements being fairly easiliy achievable even for someone like me who usually sucks at Devil May Cry. Overall, it's a fun game despite the controversial stylistic changes and some issues with the combat.
я 78 кончил на Кет, пока играл
The reboot that has better combat than some of the original DMC games. What it gets wrong: * Characters * Story * Tone * Writing What it gets right: * Combat (Some of the best combat in the series) * Music * Great mission design (no annoying puzzle sections that I hated in some of the og games) * Platforming that does not suck I love this game almost as much as the original DMC games, and I think it deserves its place in the series.
