Dive the Depths is a roguelike action RPG that definitely doesn’t hold your hand. True to its name, the game throws you straight into the deep end, leaving much of the learning curve to exploration and experimentation. As you progress, you gradually figure out how to build your character and take down challenging bosses. The game does have some rough edges—particularly in map clarity, enemy visuals, and UI design. While the lack of polish sometimes enhances the feeling of being lost in the depths, it can also hinder gameplay, making it harder to read enemy attacks and time dodges effectively. A few targeted improvements here could go a long way. Despite its flaws, Dive the Depths shows a lot of potential. If you're a fan of rogue likes and drawn to the game’s underwater theme, it’s definitely worth a try—especially at its current price point.
