Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

far worse than the first part. fleet management will drive you crazy, ships jump around and hunt miners while they leave your home-world unprotected, even though it was ordered otherwise. invasion mechanics are completely broken.. AI will jump with transporters to your planet drop their invasion troops and jump away immediately, even before your superior fleet in the sector can do anything and of course the enemy invasion troops will conquer your planet in the meanwhile.

Solid 4x game with tremendous flexibility in automation; play your way.
Overall good gameplay but unbalanced at mid/endgame. My 20h save with crashing after launching so I had to rollback it from 2h then it worked back. The game needs a nasa computer to run endgame runs even though I feel that the devs could optimize that.
Nicht perfekt, aber sehr schöne Alternative zu Stellaris.
The Game does not work. There are tons of bugs. You cant call it bad design anymore. You can not tell the Colonization ship to colonize a world. You must flag a planet for colonization and hope that the one of the 4 ships manages to get out of the loop of loading and unloading population. I spent 4 hours waiting to colonize a world and googling how to solve the problem. It is complete mess and the Automation ♥♥♥♥♥ everything up.

It's still a mixed experience, but stil its unmatched. The "private economy" is one of these special features - all goods are really transported around - by a private economy. They build ships and trade those goods to or from other empires and within your empire. The other feature that makes DW:2 great: The possibilities to configure how much you want to control yourself. Leave everything to assistant? Possible - just control a single ship, while assistant managed the empire? Sure! Technically still not 100% stable - i experienced a crash a day (but those days involved many hours of having the game running). If you look for a complexity monstrum with a large scale - and the ability too zoom in from galaxy to a single ship (no seperate system maps like in Stellaris), then it might be for you. Quite CPU demanding.
