I’m a huge fan of DISGRACED and everything else I’ve tried by Corrosive. I genuinely feel that Corrosive is the best developer of vintage-style, high-concept JRPGs, blending modern emergent storytelling with a nostalgic platform. DISGRACED is an ambitious and meticulously crafted effort, delivering a gritty historical fiction experience through the classic old-school JRPG engine we all know and love. It’s an absolute delight and highly replayable, especially with the variety of DLCs available—some of which I’m about to try next!

Efectos[/diva]5Básicos, no esperes fuegos artificiales.

Música6Apropiada pero olvidable, como la banda sonora de mi vida.

Voces4Monótonas.
Mix of RPG and a management game set in dark and gritty Japan under an oppressive regime that you have to liberate. Sounds amazing right? Yes. but the reality is very different. This is a bog standard RPG Maker game with very shallow mechanics and literally nothing interesting going on. + Great atmosphere and the settings is interesting. + There is a ton of variety in weapons and other gear. - Combat is bog standard RPG Maker, very boring and grindy. There are many weapons but they all feel the same. - There is nothing interesting going on - storywise or otherwise. You explore the map, fight a few enemies in a set locations, finish a few simple quests and thats it. - Management aspect of the game is very basic, kinda grindy and very very bland. You raise a few basic stats and spend them on activities - improving your town, convincing people to join your cause etc. - There is no easy way to save game - you have to go back to bed or have a special item in your inventory, Met a tough opponent you cant escape from? You die and go back to the previous save and do the exact same steps you just did. - There are no characters worth talking about - everyone has one sentence written about them, they might as well not exist. Story is very amateurishly done. Honestly a dissapointment for me. I wanted to like this game but the bog standard RPG maker gameplay and no presence of interesting story or mechanics made me drop it and i dont drop a lot of games.
we need chinese, we need chinese, we need chinese.
One of the best RPGMaker games out there
good
I completed the main story in 10 hours. I didn't really enjoy it that much. I haven't played it in eight years. But you know what? The dev is still updating it, and just rolled out a major update a short time before I decided to write this. And to me? That's amazing. This person is dedicated to a vision. None of the kind of corner-cutting nonsense that's become common since it was released. Just relentless, incremental improvement to this experience. I respect that so much that I can only possibly give this a thumbs up. I hope I can create something, someday, that lasts this long. I wish this dev all the best.
https://youtu.be/UykwlXICLrA City/Army building elements are rare for an RPG maker game but the hard crash and loss of progression is a rough time.
Good game. Love the music and the overall presentation. Jesus, I wish there where more 2d games themed like this.
