Disgaea 7 si presenta come un festival dell'eccesso dove i numeri dei danni raggiungono cifre che farebbero girare la testa a un matematico della NASA. Il sistema di combattimento tattico è più profondo che mai e introduce meccaniche assurde, come la possibilità di trasformare i guerrieri in giganti pronti a schiacciare l'intera mappa con un colpo solo. Ogni battaglia è un mix esplosivo di strategia e follia visiva che tiene incollati allo schermo, grazie a una varietà di classi e abilità che permette di personalizzare la squadra in modi infiniti. È il classico titolo capace di far passare ore intere a ottimizzare ogni singolo pezzo dell'equipaggiamento senza che la noia bussi mai alla porta. L'unico vero ostacolo che frena l'entusiasmo è l'assenza totale della lingua italiana, un dettaglio che pesa come un macigno vista la mole spropositata di testi presenti. I dialoghi sono brillanti, pieni di umorismo e battute taglienti, ma chi non mastica bene l'inglese rischia di perdersi gran parte del divertimento narrativo. È un vero peccato che un'opera così ricca e scoppiettante non riceva una localizzazione adeguata per il nostro mercato, il che obbliga molti a tenere un dizionario a portata di mano tra una mazzata e l'altra. Chi decide di sorvolare su questa barriera linguistica trova comunque un gioiello del genere tattico, anche se un po' di supporto nella nostra lingua avrebbe reso l'esperienza decisamente più godibile e accessibile a tutti.
