The world has gone mad for Disco Samurai, a game set in the cyberpunk metaverse known as Disco. Everyone plays it — your neighbor, your boss and probably even your least favorite politician. Not only are people buying virtual real estate, cars and designer clothes, they’re even insuring them! Sounds crazy? You tell me — since the game’s release, the world’s crime rate dropped by over 77%! Why rot in jail for petty crimes, when in Disco you can become a notorious bounty hunter without facing any consequences?
The story follows Fox, a rebellious student who wants to make a name for herself in the world of architecture and fine arts. Since virtual vandalism and spilling pixel blood are more her style than attending lectures, the world of Disco is about to learn a new definition of "brutalism".

If Hotline Miami and Sekiro had a baby where you parry to the beat. 10/10
I really enjoyed this game, and it's parry-focused rhythm combat. I like learning each of the enemies patterns and getting better a grasp of each encounter. It's such a really satisfying game overall. The only problems I have with the game is that while I do like how certain ranged enemies can force me to dodge while fighting another enemy and continue their pattern, but they can be a bit too aggressive especially if there's more than 1 of them. I played the game on Steam Deck, and it supports steam input. The problem is that due to the back buttons were mapped by default, button prompts didn't show in the tutorial most likely because the game doesn't have prompts for the back buttons.
The basics are good and I liked the demo. (and obviously bought the game) But it's too hard on easy, the enemies are bullet sponges. Specifics of the combat mechanics seem good at first glance but could have used more polish. For example, you can throw back grenades, but the range for picking and throwing the grenades is shorter than the radius of the grenades to damage you, so you have the choice to either evade or gamble on throwing it back, but even if you are "in range" you're not. The more free form movement makes it unclear exactly when things are in range or will miss based on ranges, especially because the enemies do some amount of lock on and move per step, but it's hard to judge when and how far that will happen. The armor / break bar design is a good idea but too tanky, missing to kill an enemy by one hit but having to break his entire break bar again feels awful and makes the enemy nearly literally 2x harder. Particularly for the boss fights this annoying. Pretty much everything that's not a combat level is not good enough to be in the same game. The character backstory, the motorcycle chase sequences.
A najbardziej mnie wkurwiało tempo, czasem po prostu musisz klikać prawy przycisk myszy a następnie spacje i to w przeciągu 0,5 sekundy.
bellissimo
Fun and quick rhythm beat & up. Had a blast going through it!
Great small rithm game. Similiar idea to hifi rush complete with boss battles and skipabble (if you dont like it) racing sections. Enjoying it a lot. If you like rithm games and hifi rush in particular you should like this.
