I love this game. I played the mobile and started playing DG in the real world in March of 22. This game has been able to help me with the angle of my release and also is just so damn cool in general. Only complaints i have: 1. Disc speed is either full blast, or half in my opinion. That needs tweaking. 2. Putting is pretty quirky. Not sure how you would fix it. But it just doesn't add up to real life putting. 3. No multiplayer. Again, highly recommend this game. Hope they see this and keep working on it because this game could be absolutely incredible for the finished product. You can easily get lost for hours playing this. 8/10!
Ok why am I getting ads for this on the mobile version when its clearly not updated anymore. Love u Latitude but cmon
The potential is unreal. The game doesn't always feel as smooth as it should. If they could update the discs and make a daily open and pro tour this game would be sooo much better. That being said it is still very fun to play.
Seriously the best disc golf VR game. Just really hope it gets the course updates that the regular versions gets…and multiplayer.
yippee!
I have had a few reviews I posted to YT regarding Disc Golf VR games, and found them all to be quite lacking. But after having played the mobile version of this game I decided to give it a try. Lo and behold, It's Actually Good!!!! Hey, this may not be perfect, but the visuals are the same as the mobile app, and the orientation and flight path of the disc are very helpful and I feel can even transpose to real life throws. We shall see. Love the game!!
abandoned game. do not buy.
If you're a disc golfer and you have VR, picking this up (especially if on sale) is a no-brainer. It's a 4/5 stars for me, lots of the things that make the original phone game popular are brought to this port and make it great as well. Particularly, the level design of the courses that I really enjoy. But this game has better disc physics and and flight calculation than anything else out there, by far... even if it still leaves a bit more to be desired. I still think you want to buy this game... if they do actually continue to develop it (it's been 1.5 years since it was released as early access, and no updates), that's just a bonus. Let's hope they do. Let's just put it this way; yes, it appears to be abandon-ware. But, you're either buying this game, or you're never going to buy a VR disc golf title... because it'll be a few years before anything comes out that's better than this as it is already. If you're a disc golfer (and I assume you are if you're interested in this game), your disc golf throwing mechanic isn't going to translate to this game straight up. But after some trial and error, you can adapt, and it works. It's a decent effort to match the two, though I do hope development resumes and they further refine it. The main thing to know going in is if you want to throw a 10 speed driver 350 ft in this game, you're actually going to want to "throw" with the equivalent of 100 ft of standstill power, which is enough to achieve the games maximum disc speed of "30". Anything more than that, and it seems to screw up the games interpretation of the release angle of the disc, so you get cut rollers and early releases, at least on the Rift CV1. If you think about it, that's to be expected; no one is going to build a game that actually rewards you going dangerously crazy in your little VR space trying to gain extra distance. Full power throws without letting go of the controller are bad for your elbow. So just give everything a smooth, soft flick, play with the release angle and disc selection, and you'll have fun. My only other complaint, the scale of the game is quite off. What you're told is a 30 ft putt actually feels like a tap in. But all of it being relative, if you ignore the numbers it gives you, the ratio of the disc to the throws to the basket size all free "right"... except for maybe the putting which is a little too touchy for me.
Kult spill. En spiller disc golf inne i en Nintendo 64 verden, sponset av Latitude 64! Original discer fra Latitude:)
Will it get the same uppdates as the mobile game whit multiplayer and season pass?
