Reviews
DIRT 5 takes the long-running Dirt franchise in a boldly energetic direction, emphasizing arcade accessibility and high-octane spectacle over the meticulous simulation roots that shaped earlier entries. Developed by Codemasters and later published under Electronic Arts, the game immediately differentiates itself with vibrant visual flair, exaggerated vehicle handling, and a willingness to embrace chaos. Instead of expecting you to master precise braking points or razor-thin drift angles, DIRT 5 invites you to throw powerful off-road machines across mud, snow, ice, sand, and gravel with style. The philosophy is simple: make every race feel lively, colorful, and fun — the kind of experience where even mistakes can lead to surprising comebacks and memorable moments. The game opens up its content generously, offering a wide selection of event types, vehicle classes, and global locations. Career mode anchors the experience, guiding you through a progression structure that mixes traditional circuit races with stampede events, ice racing, time trials, and special showcase challenges. What stands out is the track variety: you might blaze through a muddy trail in Brazil in one event, then skid across frozen lakes in Norway, then navigate canyon paths in the American Southwest. Weather effects, time of day changes, and diverse terrain conditions keep events feeling fresh. The storytelling in Career mode, delivered through podcast-style commentary from recognizable voice actors, adds personality even if it doesn't revolutionize the racing narrative formula. Handling in DIRT 5 clearly aims for comfort and accessibility. Vehicles feel responsive, loose, and eager to slide, encouraging you to drift powerfully around corners or throw your car into daring overtakes without worrying too much about precision physics. This approach significantly lowers the learning curve, making the game inviting for anyone who wants immediate gratification. The trade-off is that seasoned fans of realistic off-road simulators may find the driving model too light or forgiving. Cars bounce and slide with exaggerated flair, and the physics often prioritize entertainment over authenticity. But this exaggerated behavior is deliberate; the game’s identity leans heavily into fast fun, not realism. One of DIRT 5’s most impressive achievements is its sensory presentation. Visually, it offers bold colors, dynamic lighting, dense particle effects, and distinctive weather conditions that change the mood and challenge of each race. Tracks can transform mid-race as snow thickens or rain lashes down, and the glowing neon banners and electric color palette give the game a fresh, youthful atmosphere distinct from its earlier counterparts. Audio support is strong as well, with a soundtrack packed with rock and electronic music that fuels the frantic momentum. Engines roar with satisfying punch, mud splashes loudly, and transitions between terrain types carry convincing sound cues that deepen immersion even with the arcade framing. DIRT 5 offers more than just racing circuits thanks to its multiplayer features and the surprisingly robust Playgrounds mode. Local split-screen for up to four players is a rare treat in modern racing games and adds immense value for anyone who enjoys couch multiplayer. Online racing remains lively with traditional competitive modes. Playgrounds, the game’s track-building and stunt arena designer, provides a creative outlet for constructing trick courses or obstacle tracks. Though not as complex as a full environment editor, Playgrounds’ toolset allows for surprisingly inventive setups, giving the community a way to extend the game’s lifespan with fresh content. The game does have its shortcomings. Career mode, while diverse in event types, can grow repetitive once the novelty of new locations settles. The structure of races often relies on familiar patterns: start in the middle of the pack, fight your way forward, and deal with rubber-banding AI that can feel inconsistent. The arcade physics, while fun, sometimes verge on floaty or imprecise, making certain jumps or hairpin turns feel scripted rather than skill-driven. And although Playgrounds adds flexibility, its constraints limit the most ambitious track ideas. The game’s identity as a fun-first racer occasionally leaves the experience feeling shallow to players seeking deeper mastery or more serious competition. Despite these flaws, DIRT 5 succeeds in delivering a joyful, fast-paced, and visually striking off-road experience. It’s a celebration of racing as entertainment — the kind of game that embraces big slides, loud colors, unpredictable weather, thundering soundtracks, and the thrill of throwing a car sideways at high speed. It may not satisfy fans craving a hardcore rally simulation, but for players who want instant fun, variety, and a sense of carefree momentum, DIRT 5 provides a lively and memorable ride. It’s a modern arcade racer with enough content, style, and creative tools to keep both casual racers and off-road enthusiasts entertained for hours. Rating: 6/10

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

As tempestades, chuvas, neve, poeira... Ficou bem charmoso. Parabéns aos desenvolvedores. Se você também é entusiasta de títulos de corrida, e o encontrou em promoção, vale a pena adicionar à coleção(biblioteca). Desejo uma boa diversão pra te.
Sadly its not that good. *Playing race event using handbrakes - crap. Spinning car all over. *Playing race event using break - crap. Opponents catching up in a seconds. *Drifting events - crap. Are horrible and stage feels too tiny for a car. Plus car handles are totally out of drift action league. Drifting cars are cows on ice - all over the place with they own mind. *Offroad events - pretty much slide-all-over-corner. Crap. *Buggy cars - this one accurate: super-suck at corners, typical every US muscle car ever made. aka Crap. :P *Corners - wall-grind corners reducing speed 10 times. A unforgivable punishment for that move. *Corners - slide hitting a walls stops you car at halt. Randomly. (looks like collusion bugs there) *Cars - feels like rogdolls. 2 tons car loves to flip on its roof. lol *Driving at night - pretty much "When I turn?". Tracks are super dark and on purpose at corners. Did creators seen a Le'Man's 24h races at all? That's how lighted night track should be, when you driving it at over 60 mph. Career - way too boring and repetitive.. 300 events.. but its feels like a chore.. try-to-do a even.. lose it - skip.. try to-do second finish mid... getting money, points. next event... try-repeat. its not courage you finish first, just some times lock your progress. To force you earn extra badges by beating past evens in better positions. Like try bit better. .. and so on. that pretty much thats a career playthrough. After Dirt 3... Dirt series just went to drain hole. becoming money milking franchise out of the fans. Buy ONLY at super discounts. P.S. Limited to 60 fps. Playing stable BUT a random hiccup that drop fps 8. At High setting with DLLS on 4070 RTX. Info from a benchmark test-run withing a game settings. So yeah - game does have graphical unoptimizations too.
stop working windows, no solution?
best game ever
This game doesn't deserve bad review lol,I had blast in this game
love the grafics
Fun for co-op play. Arcade-y over-the-top physics. Could be tougher, and maybe more choice of cars, but still a fun couch co-op game (yes, couch co-op)
jogo é top gosto muito
