An amazing game i play often with both my kids and friends. Depending on the house we use a different account so although it may say ive played 40plus hours, its likely more like 100 at this point. The game offers a fair and balanced challenge with options to make it more relaxing should you want something not so sweaty. Its very fun and offers a lot to strategize about, should you want to. My only true complaint, and this is shared with everyone who ive shared this game with, is the icons and some colour choices for the items. Some icons look too similair like the fries and cheesey fries. Or any of the tea / coffee combinations in the new donut campaign. Also, some icons dont match on screen like the symbol for the glazed donuts is a white donut but on screen its more of a brown donut that looks glazed, and then when someone orders two of the glazed donuts the icon isnt white but looks like two glazed donuts stacked on top one another. Its very confusing. It would help if maybe there was a generic pink donut used for glazed (sugar) donut to help. If the icons could be changed, that would be make this game so much better. Like the muffins you cant really tell there are banana dots and you barely see the chocolate dots on it, could these be made bigger? The large and small cups, could maybe the large be red and small be blue, something like that so its easier to tell the difference. In total some of the colouring is confusing. In the chicken campaign the light pink raw and soft white both blend into the white counter tops. But besides that, its a ton of fun. If the colouring of items and icons could be fixed, this would be a ten out of ten game for me and my friend group. Works great on steam deck. Works great remote play.
This game is closer to Plate Up! than Overcooked. Blends elements of cooking/serving rush mechanics with kitchen layout design which makes for a fun experience. Great for couch coop and makes for a light, casual experience. Downside: The targeting system (what your character interacts with) can be a little frustrating at times. In the heat of the action, it's easy to combine two items by mistake which can get annoying. Players that tend to rage beware.
One of the best cooking games ever. If you like Overcooked and PlateUp this right up your alley.
- I really love this game EXCEPT for the annoying characters that come begging for food and block the routes. It adds no interest to the game, just pure annoyance, and it was enough to put the game down. Please add an option to remove them. - I feel like there could be more content in the modes. I was disappointed to see that you could only buy counters etc. after a relatively short while instead of adding more things to sell. I lose interest as soon as there's nothing to accomplish anymore. - the picking up of items can occasionally be a little wonky, as many have said. + the game itself would be super fun without the small annoyances, and if you don't mind the things I've mentioned, it's worth the money, but I think there's room for improvement.
If you enjoy playing all the Overcooked style games then this is a must play. The levels focus more on progression and streamlining each day of food service with good coordination and efficiency rather than ever changing arcade style levels. DB2 has a lot of quality-of-life improvements from the first one and lets you control how you like the kitchen to be set up a bit more. You can also crank up the difficulty by increasing the flow of customers as well as being able to hire servers to help crank through massive orders. Game has also had great support with more restaurant types being added that bring new challenges and keep the gameplay fresh. Would definitely play the DB1 kitchens ported to this version or whatever new kitchens get added to DB2.
Still the best difficult cooking game to play with friends without killing each other at the end. Gameplay is largely unchanged from DB1 (not a bad thing by any measure). The music is nice. Tl;dr more of the same = good!
期待DLC,人物装扮,房间装扮等~ It's super fun and addictive, you can't stop~ Great games, strongly recommend continuous updates and optimizations, especially for item selection improvements—always picking the wrong items! Add more modes, gameplay, and meal combinations. Looking forward to the multiplayer online mode! The waiter's service area is too limited—can it be expanded a bit. Looking forward to the DLC, character outfits, room decorations, and more~
Okeyish. It's like Overcooked from Temu... Like fast food truck in compare to a fancy restaurant - might satisfy some hunger Barely fun, ANNOYING ON PURPOSE - with all those beggars, lees, divas etc, for the love of God it is not how you make games. Another example - if you pack 9 chickens on one plate, you cannot take one out. I never know when next stage will happen, tere is just no info on our progress. Keyboard controls are incomplete (shop reload impossible, diagonal pickup impossible) Obvously not focused on 2 players even though i can guarantee 50% play single, 30% pay 2 players, and less than 10% play 4 players
A good, fun cooking game. It is essentially the same as the first Diner Bros, except it is more polished. Besides the burgers, it does offer different food from the first game. I do miss the pizza though. Each campaign has a different kitchen hub but we get to place everything for it. Endless mode is too easy for me because customers only come 1-2 at a time. So I got to 366 served in the donut endless after 1:30 hours and had to just quit because I had other things to do. Overall it's a fun game!
