A nice incremental clicker time-killer game, though kinda short
A cheap incremental clicker, that was fun while it lasted. Played on steam deck, no real issues, I was playing it via the touch screen though. I'd sometimes maybe hit the wrong square during digs, but that's my fat-fingerered-ness. It's an incremental clicker based on dinosaurs and digs, with the usual prestige system you see on these things. It's just fun to be finding dinosaur bones, and is a little less monotonous. In the end it's over and done with in a few hours, but for les than 3 pounds (GBP), that's not too bad! Especially if you decide to compare this to something less harmless, like a box of Space Marines, for £45!! :P

Digseum is a really good game. I discovered it by accidently when watching a video on the best Clicker/Incremental games and this was listed in S Rank. The main appeal for why I brought the game was because the person in the video said you could beat the game in roughly 5-6 hours I believe, and that tracks, beat the game in just under 5 hours. I love an incremental game with an achievable end state. I have played a few incremental games which… just go on and on, which can be cool… but it’s just so satisfying being able to reach a definitive, conclusive END to the game. It is also a really cheap game, so that was a bonus (cuz I’m broke). Gameplay, really fun. Simple Gameplay loop, and it stayed fun. Although you do the same gameplay loop for hours, which is digging for items, I didn’t mind it, it was simple enough I could switch my brain off and do other things (like listening to a podcast) and only required me to either click some UI buttons, or click to dig. The only time I had to think was when I prestige, and read what the upgrades were, then I’d go right back to my podcast lmao. I think this game is incredible, and wished more people knew about it. I’m definitely recommending this game to as many people as I can, because it is amazing.
I tried to stretch it out, too short. Not bad for 1-2 hours, but kind of a waste of time.
A great little clicker game type thing!
Great game. If it were any longer, it'd be too long for me. If it were any shorter, it'd be too short.
Incredibly short yet quite satisfying incremental game. If you've ever played Pokemon Diamon/Pearl and went into the mines and enjoyed that, this is a little slice of that, its good!
I don't know what is real anymore. I was running the best digseum around but once you start finding these pretty shards it's like they cast a curse over you to only think about them. It becomes all you can think about, you can crave, all you need and desire. I just desperately needed more and it was never enough. You will never be satisfied. Until one day you find yourself in a void on the brink of what is reality and what is just binary code you don't know anymore. Deep down you know you shouldn't be here, something is off, something is warning you but that want- no that NEED that DESIRE of seeing what more you can find consumes you so you keep going. You find something you have never seen before sparkling out of the ground and you think this was the right choice, I was just being paranoid. You quickly go to dig up the rest of whatever is shining through and once uncovered it starts to grow. It starts to come alive like you have just woken something you should never have seen in the first place. It rapidly starts expanding realising what you have just unleashed onto the world a black hole of destruction. You try to run away but the hole grows faster than you can run and consumes you. Everything goes black you can't hear, you cant see, you cant even think anymore. Everything is idle, quiet, unsure if you even exist anymore. Seconds, Hours, Days, Years who knows how much time as passed or if time even exist until something finally wakes you up. A voice in the distance shouting something you cannot make out. It is getting louder as light, sound, smell, sight start to fade back in for you. You start to fade back in. All your memories of what happened before come back in. As you open your eyes you realise you are brought back to the very first day you started this digseum, the thing that had caused all of this. Asking around about things that had happen just to realise none of it was real, they did not know what you were talking about. As crazy as you sound you decide to warn them of your rebirth and what our future holds if we continue on with this path but as you try to speak something physically stops you. Confused you try everything to get the message across but every attempt you make from speaking, drawing even charades there is a block. Until it dawns on you...it's the code. It is meant to be this way. We are meant to be destroyed by our own selfish desires, craving more even if there is no more left to give. We are never meant to be satisfied.
