This game changed so much from when it first started.
This is a great game.. currently in early access i love the concept and where it (may)lead to . I have some suggestions. Please include a freeplay to play skirmish matches against A.I. with difficutly level. I KNOW You will add more boards, but how about a simple straight one where one will turn right back after reaching the end making for more character vs character. AND how about just makeing a card only mode. Some people are already saying this is like hearthstone but with the dice and board. Well being as you guys love parodies, why not just own the fact that hey yes this is similar but not the same.... OR IS IT??! ahahaha... i know i'm lame.. but keep up the good work! amazing game. ALSO INCLUDE CUSTOMIZE DECKS! Where you can select a hero but that hero should not be confinded to their own specific deck. Have i can use all the cards from all the decks to build an unpredicatble and fun combination!
Really fun, and really short. Maybe about 2 hours of game play. A lot like Culdcept and Hearthstone.
The art is nice, unfortunately I didn't really find myself drawn to the gameplay. Probably worth having a deep look at the rules and such before purchasing.
Nice ideas, but abandonware.
I can't recommend this game because the game constantly crashes to desktop. Sometimes my sessions are as short as 4-5 minutes before it suddenly crashes. I'm not a fan of the games artstyle, and the game uses far too many memes in its jokes/card art to the point were it danced dangerously with the line between "referential humor" and outright plagiarism due to poverty of ideas. The game itself is actually kind of fun. The equip mechanic is pretty novel and a neat concept. I didn't get too far due to all the crashes, but I felt there was a lack of interesting card types. I was playing the wizard and I simply could not find any other new spells to add to the base starting deck, so I had nothing to spend my currency on. Nearly all of them are some variation of "deal X damage to target(s) on Y number of squares." It made nearly all the spells feel very samey. If not for the crashes, for $0.99 I would say it is worth the time and money to try out to spend some downtime on. However, until that is figured out, you are better off saving your money for something else.
I saw this game for fairly cheap and decided to take a look; the simple graphics and reasonably different (but still somewhat familiar) gameplay was highly tempting. I first noticed the visuals. A little like other games such as darkest Dungeon, but they really do suit the playstyle. Music as well was rather nicely done. The writing and storyline did not seem particularly fleshed out, but being an Early Access i had no problems with it. The balance of characters left a little to be desired, but again, this is only an early access problem. My verdict? Bring on updates, bring on multiplayer (Please?) and some more content will make this a well rounded game!
This game has awesome potential and is very fun for a brief time. Then it gets a bit repetitive. The problem is the game boards are all pretty much the same and the cards are overall limited. There are also some crash bugs that happen occasionally. A lot can be done with this type of fun game but its slightly lacking here
nice game !! so good!!
If you ever played the PS2 Game Culdcept and longed for that, buy this game right now. It's Deck Building but all the battles take place on a board. Lot's of synergies and different combos to create. Humor is hit or miss I would say but I've only played it for a short while and bought it for my wife to play. If Monoply, Magic the Gathering and Sitcom writer had a baby, this game would be that baby.
