fatal error: the game ill rate it crash/10 currently absolutely unplayable game was in EA since october 2015 and if you read some negative reviews from back then you can see ppl moan about the fatal error already and THAT was just released out of EA including our beloved game shutdown error so the devs literally twiddeled their thumbs for a full year but oh wait... thats not completely true they spent time to double the price from 8€ to 15€ since so much hard work was put into the game over the previous 10 months now thats what i call audacity :p
My most recent achievement is "No hard feelings. It's all business." XD I'm not mad the dev did a runner, the game has a full single player campain and I paid very little for it. Plus its kinda fun.

Dicetiny is fun little game for when you're bored and want to kill some time. It's a mix of Hearthstone and Monopoly (although it doesn't take you years to finish one round). The Card design is mostly based on Internet Memes and Movie References which might not appeal to everyone. While playing the game there were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way: -I do enjoy some funny Memes but the Story Mode sometimes trys waaaaay to hard to fit in some stupid references that aren't funny -Balancing is an issue cause some of the Cards seem vastly OP while others seem straight up useless -The game doesn't really have any replayability because starting with a different class for your main-character doesn't add anything to the experience since you can just switch to one of the side-character and you'll pretty much know what the other classes offer. -There are no unlocks for beating the game other than some achievments -For a cardgame of this day and age to have no multiplayer is kind of wierd especially when everything in the game screams loudly "WOULDN'T YOU LIKE TO EXPERIENCE SOME OF THIS WITH FRIENDS?!" -Some of the missions aren't explained all that well ,for example when it says "You win the game when your enemy has no Gold" you can just straight up kill them and win that way and in some missions It's even the way better option to do so. -Lastly at the date of this Review there is a Glitch in this game that makes the information of a field show up and not dissapear you can't get rid of it for the rest of the match so you'll have to restart the whole mission to make it go away. All in all eventhough the game has a lot of wasted potential, it's still fun for a quick singleplayer playthrough, definetly worth picking up should it be on Sale.
Before I start, let me just state that I have no particular reason to be biased for or against this game. I didn't even know about this game until I won it in a contest several years back, but I'd have happily dropped a few bucks on it. Being abandoned is clearly a frustration, but one that is offset by the fact that I've never seen such a good abandoned game before. Many early access games aren't this well done. Now that we've got the full story, I'm going to post a brief review. The reason this game has an overall "mixed" score (at the time of this writing) is because it has been abandoned and is not for sale. However, I think the reasons for the game being abandoned are absolutely absurd. The people who invested money in this game decided to destroy it rather than earn money off of it. Apparently, they've literally decided to ruin the lives of the developers rather than see the game through to its completion. Is the game perfect? No. But even its quirks would be desirable to the right crowd. If anything, the game suffers from being a nich game in too many ways: niche gameplay, niche humor, niche art, niche writing. This could make it hard to sell... but what it is not is bad. The game has a lot going for it, and I wish that it had had an opportunity to thrive. Already, in the state it currently is in, I feel that this game is better than about 75% of the games on steam, and that's considering that it has been abandoned. I'm frankly ashamed at the investors for giving up on something that could've made millions with the right marketing. Update: I guess I got a few of the facts off a bit, but the overall message is still true. This game is pretty good, and I think it's worth supporting this creative developer. AND, it's no longer abandoned - the developers are working on it! I think it's worth the very low $5 price tag... like a perpetual sale. This thing could easily cost 20 bucks when it's fully fleshed out.
I like this game, i've been looking for a single player board game type game and this is exactly that. A few problems here and there that I will talk about later, but first, the good. Good: - Very nice art, looks unique and fits nicely. - The concept is very nice and fills a spot in my library that I had been wanting to fill for a while. - The variety is nice, from what I have played so far there are a nice amount of monsters, cards, enemies, variations and so on, always could be more but it's is nice for the time being. Critisism's: - I find myself looking at the screen at times wondering where I have seen the same screen from. This game borrows from many other games and sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt. The thing I like the least is the obvious hearthstone copying of the deeck builder as well as the card backs. Sure it doesn't effect the gameplay but it still makes the game feel a bit cheap. - I have found myself at a point in the game (the wolf enemy) where I get destroyed against him/her but easily win the prior rounds. Im talking no-hope lose from round 3 destroyed gainst the wolf. At the moment it is hard to tell if it is something I am doing wrong, or whether my class just cant beat the character. It gets very frustrating. It is hard to say whether iI recommend this game, I have made it as far as i can (because of the wolf boss that i simply cannot beat), but I had fun coming this far. It is also very cheap at the moment. ... In conclusion, and after the full release of this game, and after it turns out that the game is quite well made, yes. I recommend this game.
The illustration is cute, and I like character's humor.. but there's small hiccups.. I don't know what "Equip" cards do. No idea at all. Really, the tutorial is too short. Also after 11 round, it says "1 damage every turn" but so far I never saw this apply. Still, this game is good for spending time. :)
Didn't get past the terrible tutorial. Trying so hard to be funny, didn't bother to explain the game. Lots of attention to useless things like ATK means attack and no attention to the core mechanics. Tried playing for a bit but not intuitive at all. May try again unless I'm busy cleaning the grout in the bathroom with a warped toothbrush.
So I decided to try the game. However, it is very laggy on my computer so I am not able to play it at all. It will be nice if the dev can optimize the performance and reduce the lag. Although it is possible that my computer is not capable to run the game, but it will be nice to improve the performance so it can run on my system. Thanks.
Cool game. There is randomness, but there are also tools to control randomness - after 1-2 hours you will enjoy playing that!
This is a great game.. currently in early access i love the concept and where it (may)lead to . I have some suggestions. Please include a freeplay to play skirmish matches against A.I. with difficutly level. I KNOW You will add more boards, but how about a simple straight one where one will turn right back after reaching the end making for more character vs character. AND how about just makeing a card only mode. Some people are already saying this is like hearthstone but with the dice and board. Well being as you guys love parodies, why not just own the fact that hey yes this is similar but not the same.... OR IS IT??! ahahaha... i know i'm lame.. but keep up the good work! amazing game. ALSO INCLUDE CUSTOMIZE DECKS! Where you can select a hero but that hero should not be confinded to their own specific deck. Have i can use all the cards from all the decks to build an unpredicatble and fun combination!
