Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Sep 11 → 17.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

약 20년을 해온 게임입니다. 새로운 확장팩 버전으로 스팀에 출시되었다고 해서 스팀판으로 구매했습니다. 재밌습니다.
What did Blizzard mean when they put a bunch of spear and blow darting midgets in a Jungle with NPCs that have Indian VAs along with a soundtrack that has a didgeridoo? Anyways Necromancer is pretty fun, I like the AFK game and blowing up enemies to win the loot lottery.
Старая добрая Диабло 2. Готовьтесь снова делать Баал раны десятками за вечер и фармиить руну Зод пару тысяч часов.
Pure classic
Twenty-Five Years Later...
There are newer ARPGs. There are prettier ARPGs. There are ARPGs with more content and more quality-of-life features. Yet after all these years, Diablo II is still the one I come back to. I've spent hundreds of hours farming Travincal, Mephisto, Pindleskin, Countess, and Baal searching for that one item, one rune, or one piece of gear that could transform a build. And every time I tell myself, "Just one more run."

Atmosphere Over Graphics
Diablo II proves that atmosphere isn't about graphical fidelity. Every act has its own identity. The lonely safety of the Rogue Encampment, the oppressive deserts of Lut Gholein, the cursed jungles of Kurast, and the march into Hell all feel distinct. Matt Uelmen's soundtrack is just as important. Rather than making you feel like an unstoppable hero, the music reminds you that Sanctuary is a dangerous, dying world. Even decades later, those themes are instantly recognizable.

The Loot Chase
Diablo II understands something many modern games don't: Loot is exciting because it's rare. Every drop has potential. A white Monarch, a four-socket polearm, a high rune, a unique you've never seen before—almost everything could have value. The anticipation is what makes the grind addictive. Every boss kill carries the possibility that this is the run where you finally get what you've been chasing.

Every Class Feels Unique
The seven classes don't just play differently—they change how you experience the game. A Necromancer, Sorceress, Barbarian, Amazon, Paladin, Assassin, and Druid all approach combat, progression, and itemization in completely different ways. Rather than chasing perfect balance, Diablo II focused on giving each class its own identity, and that's a big reason why creating another character never gets old.

Final Thoughts
Is Diablo II perfect? No. Inventory management can be clunky, the stamina bar shows its age, and some builds are far stronger than others. But none of those flaws have stopped me from coming back for years. Because Diablo II mastered one simple idea that so many games still struggle to capture: The next monster might drop something unforgettable. And that's all the motivation I've ever needed to start one more run.
