Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 7/day in the week to Sep 11 → 17.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Annyira bizarr új karaktert látni egy olyan játékban, ami a gyerekkorod egy szép részét kitöltötte.
When Charsi offers to imbue an item with magical properties she doesn't mean add stats to it. She means reroll your best item and make it into a trash one. That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I’m writing this review after only a relatively short amount of playtime because I already spent countless hours with the original Diablo II back when I was a teenager. And because of that, I can confidently say this: Diablo II: Resurrected IS Diablo II. Not a modern reinterpretation, not a “reimagining,” not a heavily altered remake, it is fundamentally the exact same game, just wrapped in an incredible visual overhaul with some genuinely useful quality-of-life improvements. Before I get into all the things I love about it, I want to address one issue that genuinely frustrated me: In my experience, the Battle.net servers are surprisingly unstable. I repeatedly lost connection while playing online, which caused progress loss, areas to regenerate, and portals to disappear entirely. Having to replay entire sections because the game disconnected is incredibly frustrating. It got bad enough that I stopped during Act II and created a completely new offline character instead, since I mainly want to experience the game solo anyway. What makes this even more annoying is that, as far as I know, there’s no way to transfer an online character to offline mode. That feels like a really unnecessary limitation. If you plan to play solo from start to finish, I honestly recommend starting offline immediately to avoid the headache. I also don’t realistically expect Blizzard to significantly improve the servers at this point after all these years. Battle.net obviously still makes sense for multiplayer players, but solo players may genuinely have a better experience offline. Outside of this issue, though, I honestly have almost nothing but praise for this game. It’s genuinely impressive how well Diablo II has aged, especially if you prefer slower-paced and more atmospheric ARPGs. I also enjoy modern games like Diablo IV and Path of Exile 2, but those games often become way too chaotic for my taste. Endless visual effects, constant explosions, enemies dying before you can even properly register what they are. Sometimes it feels more like visual noise than combat. One of the biggest things I appreciate today is that the game simply wants to be a game. No endless seasonal pressure. No in-game shop constantly begging for attention. No battle passes. No menus filled with pop-ups and notifications trying to pull you into ten different systems at once. The actual gameplay experience remains the main focus, and that feels almost refreshing nowadays. Blizzard also did an excellent job preserving the atmosphere of the original. The visual overhaul looks fantastic while still respecting the dark identity of Diablo II. Being able to instantly switch between the original graphics and the remastered visuals is also an amazing touch and really shows how much respect went into this remake. Despite the technical issues I mentioned earlier, I’m genuinely having just as much fun with Diablo II again as I did many years ago.
Connection interrupted
Feels just like my nostalgia tells me Diablo II was. In other words significantly better than Diablo II actually was. Massive graphics and Quality of Life improvements, while still maintaining the same art, look, and feel. Plus the same gameplay and systems. They even managed to keep sprite-based breakpoints from the original despite using modern 3d renders. The team that remastered this needs a bonus, a raise, and another project.
Favorite ARPG of all time. Runs great on Linux!

BATTLE NET FULLY SH*T
Battle Net? More like Bad Net Code. Have fun playing an always online game that phases you into a room full of monsters and to your inevitable death.
