Good time of the day, whatever it is, to everyone out there. I am going straight to the pros and cons. Pros: + Quite delightful character art - all in all it feels bubbly so to say (not as in "standing out" but more like something pleasant); + The plot itself is interesting which is to be expected from a detective novel story; + The circumstancial music does not overload you - it is there, it serves its function and that's it; Cons: - Maybe this is just me but the adult patch didn't give me anything at all; - Few minor textual errors; - I strongly recommend not to believe the "control the detective's love life" words: 15% of the novel is about that with two choices with lack of "impressive dates" or likeso experience; - I did say the plot is interesting but it is rather outdated and predictable, to be honest - I sort of expected something different. More intriguing; - The background images seem like the photos with an artsy filter. For me it was a con because it does not play well for the overall atmosphere of the lore and story. I can't really say if one should buy it or not. I would only recommend it to someone who wants to read a light story and doesn't have high expectations. I suppose for its price it is not bad. It certainly could have been much worse.
As a trans woman, this game is unplayable to me. I probably would have not gotten this if I knew the victim was going to be a trans woman. We don't need more victims; enough of that in reality. But that aside, there's immediate British style transphobia, countered only by a cis lesbian "ally" protagonist that doesn't quite get it herself. Painfully awkward and also insulting.
Poorly-written transphobic garbage with terrible controls and subpar art. Don't waste your time or money on this game, or the creator.
呜呜呜呜detective真的就只是一个身份而已,悲伤 剧情不太行,没得CG,立绘很好看(就是表情转换,真的突然) 展现了女主自由自在的生活倒是真的。 还有真的,一个男生都没有哇!!
Another enjoyable VN which actually links to The Bahamian Rhapsody and Colorado Cocoa Club VN's. I did expect more options like the Others But I feel the one you can end up with is lovely. Though the Doctor was cute to. I would guess this was Before Cocoa though as her sister had just gone to Jamaica. Nice little Yuri
I gave up on this quite early. The murder mystery involves a dead bloke in a dress, and the detective keeps lecturing other characters about pronouns and other woke nonsense like she's a first year sociology student. It might get better later I suppose, but I'm not going to bother finishing it.
Ignore the reviews claiming this game to be "Transphobic" or anything of the sort. The victim isn't any sort of Trans. There's no malice in the writing so why would it even matter if they were? The Detectives leave all possibilities open until they have ascertained the background of the victim, which the game makes very clear. Anyone who claims the victim is Trans is either lying or didn't play the game at all. The game goes out of its way not to offend anyone and yet people still choose to get offended for no reason. It doesn't matter what your world view is, this game does not contain any politics and doesn't target any group of people. It is aimed at anyone who enjoys this type of visual novel so don't outright disregard the game because of dishonest reviews about the content.
Shallow premise and characters with an equally lackluster story. The one saving grace is that it's very easy to get all the achievements, since there's very few and the Skip function exists. Doesn't seem like the 18+ patch works anymore, so one more reason not to play this.
the writing's just...not very good.
Solve the murder mystery. Get the girl (possibly). Decent.
