Pree terrible considering the price Story was predicatable Puzzles were simple with no overlap felt more like a visual novel better games and choices on the store
A classic train murder whodunnit. There's a good variety of puzzles, and (beyond the first couple) none of them were too easy or too hard to be fun. The mystery itself is interesting, and kept me guessing well into the denouement. The character interactions are where the game really shines, with Ridelle and Lucy's budding friendship/partnership/etc being one of the story's highlights. I have very high hopes for a sequel.
a detective game that deserves so much more recognition. the cast is incredibly likeable, the humor is spot-on, the puzzles are... well, puzzly. they left me exactly as confused as a good detective game should. manageable, though. also LESBIANS. and Lucy. I love Lucy. i wish sequels were real. please play this game. it's very, very good.
As a big 'detective' games fun I really enjoyed this game. I especially liked interesting puzzles, character design and soundtrack, the story is good too. I don't even know what to complain about, everything in this game is engaging and very comfortable
The game's standout feature is the player dialogues and quirky characters. Each interaction is filled with charm and wit, making the story come alive. I particularly enjoyed the tricky puzzles that were woven seamlessly into the storyline. They were challenging yet rewarding, providing a perfect balance for anyone who loves a good mental workout. While I would have appreciated having some optional dialogue to explore more of the characters' backgrounds, it didn't take away from the overall experience. Detective Ridelle had me on my toes, piecing together clues and figuring out the "who’s who" in the crime story. Overall, it's a fun little game that provides a delightful blend of mystery and humour.
Had so much fun with this game, a lovely short experience. Very unique artstyle that felt incredibly fitting and cozy. The puzzles were quite fun, even if they felt a little forced in. Overall very enjoyable, (actually screamed at the final CG). Hope to see more Ridelle!
Avventura che unisce puzzle ed elementi da visual novel investigativa. Nel complesso divertente con enigmi ben riusciti. Narrazione che intrattiene fino all'ultimo. Migliorabile in alcuni momenti il bilanciamento tra puzzle e narrativa
In the end, I enjoyed this game. The puzzles became interesting around 70% through the game, and there were some creative ones in there. Well done! As everyone's mentioned, the story is bland, predictable, C-tier Yuri, but I can't help but be charmed by the "commitment to the bit". If I showed you a character's picture, you'd know them inside and out without playing the game for an instant. And after much thought, I find that to be a positive. It's sometimes nice to know who is "a good guy" and who is "a bad guy" right away.
Confession: it took me two tries to get into this game. Having finally completed it, I can now state I enjoyed it, recommend it, and look forward to a sequel. The first time, I got off to a bad start by missing an obvious clue and had to brute-force a combination, which is my fault, not PuzzLab's. I also wasn't sure how I felt about the character art style (2D in a 3D environment), and I paused about halfway through. Then my computer broke, resetting my progress, and I never picked the game back up. Now, I've played again. The art style grew on me early: it's simple yet expressive, and the artists did a fantastic job using minor changes to represent strong character emotions. The game leans into its status as a puzzle-heavy mystery (escape-room style), and once I understood that and embraced it, I found myself having a much better time with it. The characters are varied and their interactions are well-written, especially the dynamic between Ridelle and Lucy; the hints of romance between them may be telegraphed, but that's not a bad thing. The game has its weaknesses, and part of that I found in the mystery itself. The culprit reveal was gettable, but not the clearest, and during the Danganronpa-style denouement, there are too few opportunities for player input: some deductions were given by the dialogue rather than the player having the opportunity to show what they'd learned. I did, however, think the revelation of exactly what led to the murder very unique and cleverly written. All in all, this is a game I'll probably come back to. There aren't many walkthroughs online, which is a shame as it indicates the game hasn't gotten a lot of attention. I hope that it does; it deserves more, and I hope that the hinted sequel comes to pass.
