Detective Grimoire

My friend bought me the game today and now I am a fan. Onto Tangled Tower tomorrow :)

What a delightful lil' game this was! Both the characters and the settings sprung to life thanks to the incredible animation. And the voice acting I LOOOVED! One thing I'd improve upon, though, is the navigational arrows: I'd put them on the location instead of having to press a button each time I want to move around and explore

Игра проходится меньше, чем за 2 часа. Головоломки очень легкие, решаются с первого раза, думать почти не нужно. Как вариант, чтобы отдохнуть вечером, вполне нормально, но не более. Со своим сиквелом она, конечно, не сравнится. Tangle Tower сделана на голову выше. Из положительного могу отметить, что озвучка здесь тоже хорошая, слушать приятно. Дизайны персонажей интересные, а английский несложный - всё понятно с первого раза. Что не понравилось, так это цветовая гамма и оформление меню с профилями подозреваемых. Казалось бы, в игре преимущественно используются зеленые, болотные тона, но при этом присутствует много кислотных цветов (особенно в менюшках). Из-за этого глаза быстро устают. После сессии в ~2 часа хотелось просто лечь и уткнуться в подушку. Про меню с профилями подозреваемых: ориентироваться в ней невозможно. Много информации внесено в ограниченное пространство, глаза просто разбегаются. (я, например, только после завершения игры узнала, что там можно было менять степень подозрения к персонажам) В итоге игру бы оценила на 5/10, все же она больше напоминает новеллу, чем головоломку.

It's a lot of fun! Very charming. I like tha art and voices!

It's a short, fun, detective game with a compelling mystery that plays out as you might expect it to. The villain at the end was fairly straight forward, but I really liked the bit of dialog that follows the unveiling. The special appearance at the end was also really neat. I have some questions still about the little girl and some of the other details, which makes it all the more fun. The voice acting was wonderful, the beautiful artwork of the backdrops/sets were awesome, and I really enjoyed the quirky characters and their designs, as well.

I love everything about this game! The story, the dialogue, the voice actors, the art style, the music, everything! Though the game play is short and relatively easy, but it's really fun to solve. I also love that I don't have to click too much during the dialogue unlike other click and play games, which makes me so engaged to the story. I can't wait to play the others of this detective series.
