Desvelado

An absolutely adorable puzzle platformer! It's short and sweet, and I keep finding myself coming back for more. I also adore Vampi and would give my life for him.

Charming and silly little game with one fairly big problem. At the end of each level, you get a new part of the map, and are taken to a menu to select which level you want to play next. Fine, except there's no way to enter this menu from the pause menu, you can only enter it via these map parts, so if you back out of the menu as I did a few levels in, you can basically softlock yourself. Even replaying the level from the start does nothing, the map part won't be there at the end and you'll be stuck with no way out. I do honestly quite like the game, and in a few months I'll probably replay it from the start with this in mind, but it seems like such a glaring oversight I felt a need to write a negative review about it.

Es un juego muy entretenido i chulo la verdad. Es perfecto para quienes buscan una buena experiencia rapida, i ese es el unico pero del juego, su duración. Es un juego que no me a durado mucho pero si intentas el 100 % ahi si que te durara mas.

Very fun indeed. A short game, it is a kind of super rush puzle game that I will play again and again trying to beat my own time. Animation is super class. Everything is simple but super elegant. Well done!

Well, quick platform "puzzle" game. Nice movement feeling and looks like a good demo of something bigger. Worth the price

“Dad, can you buy me Celeste?” “We have Celeste at home, only with a cartoon vampire” “Ohhh :o” “I’ll buy you Celeste as well little man, but do play them both, all right?” “Double prize, yay :D” Indeed, that’s the best way to describe this smaller version of the legendary indie from 2018. You control a vampire that in each stage has to put out flames through jumping and dashing its way through. In that sense, it’s long enough to leave an impression with its increasingly challenging levels while also short enough to motivate you to speedrun it for the achievements. In that regard the controls are incredibly tight to the point that for all of my deaths I only had myself to blame. The art style and soundtrack are very well managed also. It has a very consistent framerate all throughout, 4 distinct scenarios even if they are all around the same vampire theme and cutesy enemies. With its tracks you won’t even need to turn them down while replaying the game either since they are long enough to not get stale and feature piano, accordion and other beautifully sounding instruments. While all of the above makes for a great recommendation I’d have liked for the ability to have the timer and the death counter on a corner of the screen and not only showing up in the map. It’s a minor quality of life improvement that could prove quite useful for those who keep practicing it. In any case, go play it.

While it was tricky at times, the music, art style and overall cozy aura of it made me feel lovely. 10/10 would reccomend to mortals-uh I mean other humans!
