Reviews
One of the worst Match 3 games that I've seen. Even the hit boxes are poorly constructed here. The game often registers wrong input, It is bad. Horribly animated and also overall meh design. Only 21 levels, so extremely short, very boring. Rage inducing controls, that don't make sense. Like: How can you screw up controls so badly? It's so difficult to move the pieces, simply bad. Don't buy this garbage, not even for your kids. Such game would make a kid cry, It is horrible. I've seen better Match 3 games that were free. And this one isn't even free, really what a joke. It's a game from 2016 with quality below NES. Like even games of the 90s had better quality. Absolutely horrible, dumpster fire, trash game. Dessert Storm deserves only negative reviews. It blows my mind that someone sells this here. Clearly unfinished and barely working product.

Basic boring endless garbage game. Was in a bundle with something else I wanted.

Dessert Storm is a bejewelled ripoff where you match three desserts together to score points. There's no other apparent objective in the game. They also ripped off the artwork for Pixar/Disneys Cars(tm) movie which is a nice double whammy. This is blatant shovelware, you can play these games for free on mobile/web etc, so no reason for anyone to pay for this deficient ripoff.

Not Your Daddy's Dessert Storm
the game has 3 modes in total: relax, classic, and rush. In relax mode, you can play the match 3 game as long as you want without any constraint. In classic mode, there are 21 levels where you have to clear all of the iced tiles within time limit. The rush mode is more like relax mode except that you're given time limit constraint and doing match 3 and its combos will increase the time limit. Since the relax and rush mode are kinda straightforward, i'll just explain the classic mode in this review. The classic mode has 21 levels in total and each level will have a predetermined tile set that you have to break. The main goal of the classic mode is to clear all of the iced tiles (which is usually all the tiles), meaning that you have to do match 3 in all of the tiles at least once. The game will add more mechanics later on which can make the game more challenging. However, although i said that, the game isn't that challenging at all actually and is kinda easy to beat. I like that this game doesn't have swap limit constraint like any other match 3 games though so you can just swap as many as and as fast as you can to complete the game.
Dessert Storm is a match-3 game that is simple and isn't riddled with microtransactions. Of how many games can you say this, nowadays? It's good for when you need a time killer game, that you can stop playing at any time. It's also dirty cheap. That said, it's still a very poorly designed game. It's an obvious ripoff of the famous Candy Crush series. Graphical elements are uninspired. Gameplay is sluggish, disrupted by unnecessary animations and imprecise detection of clicks and drags. As I've read on numerous Steam reviews, I wish Valve would give the option to give products a "Neutral" rating. Since this isn't possible, I always prefer to leave a positive rating. But know full well that this game is weak, only worth it 'cause it's almost free.
