Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive to absolutny klasyk taktycznych gier czasu rzeczywistego. Świetna strategia, masa nostalgii i prawdziwa legenda gatunku. Zdecydowanie polecam.
Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive is a real-time strategy game, similar to the Commandos series, where you control a cast of characters with different abilities in order to solve the challenges of each level. The western theme is really well done, the story is engaging, and the levels offer a great deal of variety. The music and sound effects also stand out to enhance the gameplay. The game is from 2001, but this version works well on modern systems and I had no problems running it on my Windows 10 PC. However, you will need a LOT of patience to beat the game. There's a lot of trial and error, meaning lots of reloading in order to experiment with different tactics. There are lots of different ways to beat each level, and it's fun to try different things out, even if it gets a bit frustrating having to make multiple attempts. I found giving characters movement and action commands to be a bit cumbersome, and it's often really difficult to select moving enemies, but zooming in can help with that.

This is one of the best games ever made. Most people remember the Commandos saga, particularly the first and second games. But Desperados is not just Commandos in the far west, is the perfection of the genre. They took everything that was already incredible about Commandos and built a masterpiece on top. Desperados plays as the ultimate western game, you start only with one playable character, John Cooper who is wearing Indiana Jones clothes for some reason. Every couple of levels a new character is joined with a cohesive and logical motive behind. Each time you get a new character, you get a tutorial level to understand each of their very different skills. Main plot is that someone named El Diablo is commanding a gang that steals cash from trains and banks. There are lots of plot twists down the road and cool missions with unique mechanics. One of the best things is the OST, the game is fully musicalized, something that the original Commandos didn't do, with music reacting to what is going on. Calm, fitting music for the towns and deserts, tense songs where someone notices something weird. AI is also incredible advanced for the era. Enemies might sometimes notice that their partners disappear and start looking for them. Some enemies might be easily distracted by Kate, the female token character, but some others won't. It gives the game a ton of personality. Basic core mechanics are what is expected from this genre. Some characters are better either at stealth, melee or even carrying dead or knocked out enemies. You need to make them all work together with the resources that each map give you. There's also night and rainy levels, giving you and the enemies advantages and disadvantages. Including the short tutorials, there are 25 missions in total. Most will take more than an hour to properly complete. It's a very long game that it never feels repetitive. This is one of those special games that deserve a QOL remaster. The game is totally playable, even nowadays, but after playing newer games like Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, it's easy to miss things like autosaving and better controls in general. Don't miss out the hidden Star Wars easter egg on Doc's McCoy tutorial!
can't help returning to this game. been playing it for 20years now
The game features no achievements (Never did on any platform)... ... so I'm free to judge it only on performance and ...oh boy... Crashes once every 1-2 hours for me. Usually when it's been 10 minutes since the last save :)) The controls are iffy at best, Whenever throwing stuff (cards, stun gas potions etc...) You have half of a chance at most of it working (less if you're aiming on a higher level or inside a house). Enemies can see you through the floor if they're on the level above... that's annoying. The Ai either reacts to you approaching in stealth from the back or not... a dice roll every time. Your characters are either in range of an explosion or not.. no indicators but horrible consequences. The game fully expects for you to do actual shoot-outs... in a game not built for this in any way. Bad design This game joins the growing list of games that are better experienced on youtube in preparation for playing Desperados 3 (the good quality one made by mimimi). I'd love nothing more than recommend this game but I can't. I made it up to level 12 before the need to throw the metaphorical controller through the window... I'll let future me see if he has the patience to finish it, but for now... Under 49%, Not recommended.
Played this when I was a kid, it was challenging but fun to figure out the best strategy's to beat these levels. Replayed it when I was older, still a great strategy game to play, if you like to challenge yourself even more, try to beat all levels without killing anyone. Makes the game even better in my opinion!
So fun, highly recommend :)
