Desktop Golf

Desktop Golf is a fun little desktop companion that does exactly what it's trying to do. The gameplay is simple but satisfying. The physics feel good, and every shot comes down to your own skill rather than luck. There are 100 levels to complete. The game doesn't introduce many new mechanics, but it mixes in different obstacles throughout the campaign. They get reused quite a bit, so some holes can feel a little similar. That said, I don't think this is a game you're supposed to finish in one sitting. It's designed to sit on your desktop so you can play a few holes during a short break before getting back to whatever you were doing. The controls work well overall but I wish there was a bit more freedom and convenience when moving the game window around the desktop. The visuals are very simple, but they fit the concept nicely. The relaxing background music also suits the game's laid-back nature, even if it isn't particularly memorable. It took me a few hours to complete all 100 holes. You can always return to earn three stars on every level or just play a few random courses when you need a quick break, but I personally felt satisfied after finishing everything. Performance was flawless throughout my playtime. Overall, if you're looking for a cheap, relaxing desktop game that you can enjoy in short sessions between work or other tasks, Desktop Golf is an easy recommendation.

Hello, this is a fun game to play while working from home, in between calls, or sitting idol in another game. Waiting for a que to pop? try to hit some hole in ones! Its a fun silly game with interesting physics mechanics. With 100 levels i also find the little itch to try to speed run the game. with the dropping ball mechanic you can score some silly hole-in-ones with the right combination of timing, power, and aiming. Using this mechanic is surely the way to a solid speed run. A couple key features that may be missed is in the settings which allow you to change the position of the overlay, allowing you to tuck it into your preferred corner. the reset level feature is also handy. and you can load into the last level you completed if you don't want to start from level 1. Overall a solid game, currently i have been playing it overlayed over where winds meet, when I am tired of oddity chasing or resource farming. As well as when I am working from home or studying to give me that much needed 15min break. I think that is what makes these games enjoyable the ease of access and lack of commitment needed. you can play for a couple hours or in 5 min increments.

I really like the simplicity of the game. I prefer to multitask whenever I'm doing anything at the computer, and I'm not a 'multiple screen' person. As such screen space is a priority if I am to multitask, whether for work or for fun. That's what I like about Desktop Golf. It's doesn't have much overhead in terms of the actual game window itself, I can just fit it into wherever I can fit it into on my screen and play. The gameplay itself is solid, it makes me feel like I'm playing mini golf for real lol. Overall I'd buy it again! On a side note, the physics are really fun!
