Just saying, but I do have a curator page. If like my remarks about games, you can find more of them here: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/44130985-TDP%27s-Gaming-Escapades
Oh. My. God. You know, sometimes you play a game that makes you truly appreciate another game in the same genre. Like, you are having such a miserable time, that you get constantly reminded of that other game and how good it was. Demoniaca: Everlasting Night is one such game. A game that does so much stuff wrong that had me wanting to quit it before even beating the very first boss. Do disregard my playtime as it's mostly involves farming for trading cards. I spent about 45 minutes with this game before deciding that my time is better spent playing something else. On one hand, Demoniaca: Everlasting Night has a special kind of charm to it, with its battle system and character animations being inspired by The King of Fighters series. For example, the main character runs similar to K' or her special familiar activation animation is literally from Iori Yagami's moveset. But all of that charm gets thrown out of the window when you find out how many bad design choices this game has. I really cannot form my thoughts into a coherent text, so let's go for a point by point explanation, shall we?

The game uses a fighting game button layout, yet there's no key rebind feature. So, on an Xbox controller, if you prefer your punch buttons being bound to X and Y instead of A and B, or want to change the jump button from RT to something more logical, well... tough luck.
The combat system is literally Guilty Gear Isuka 0.5, as the it gives you fighting game inputs for special moves in a platformer where you can freely move around anytime you want.
The combat feels weightless, with every punch and kick feeling as if they have no satisfying impact.
It's amazing how powerless you are in this game, with simple enemies having a lot of health and being able to drain your health pretty fast. At some point, I just started running away from the enemies instead of engaging them.
Nearly all of the enemies are resistant to specific forms of attacks, making combat incredibly tedious and not fun.
Not only that, the enemies can also apply debuffs on you. For example, they can stun you or turn you into stone, putting salt on the wound that is the combat system.
The level design feels weirdly done, as it heavily relies on you doing wall jumps to get around.
This is a metroidvania game and it only gives you access to a mini map! Sure, the areas feel small, but I would really love to have an actual map from the beginning.
The game constantly wastes your time by using unneeded, unskippable cutscenes (like the ones that happen every time you reload the game or continue) or putting wooden barriers in your way that take a lot of time to break.
The game uses some frankly headache-inducing visual effects such as the brightness on the environment constantly changing/flickering, or the screen starting to rapidly zoom in and out whenever a powerful monster or boss is attacking.
Sure, the visuals look nice and the OST sounds great, but you can find and play games in the same genre that are way better than this when it comes to their gameplay.

A rather specific game with an incomprehensible plot, old-school, pixelated graphics, amazing musical accompaniment and, of course, it is worth noting the hardcore of this game. So if you have strong nerves, can definitely play)))
Каеф, буду добивать до конца.
This Game has OUTSTANDING style and music, omg the music! <3 The combat is clunky though - missing many of the staples of a metriodvania or fighter, both genres this game is. There are no Invincibility frames for the main character once you get hit or when you're attacking so you can easily get stunlocked by enemies or damage yourself by attacking when your hit boxes collide. Honestly, that's a pretty hard fail for the Devs and I hope they read the reviews and patch it in. Seriously Devs, PATCH IN I-FRAMES!
