About
Play as a demon trying to smash his way through the icy barriers of a deep, frozen cavern. Wield your pickaxe and hellfire to shatter the ice - it's the only way to forge a path to the surface. A demonic magic crystal will grant you the power to upgrade your abilities and make your escape ever more efficient.
As you make your escape, you'll encounter and destroy not only obstacles but also intricate ice formations depicting mysterious scenes. Who are the figures in these frozen dioramas, and what do they signify? What are the cryptic messages you keep receiving? Why are you trapped here, and who left you the pickaxe? These are the questions you must answer as you piece together the truth.
Though you play as a demon, you won't be harming any living creatures in this game. Your only adversaries are the thick layers of ice and the statues frozen within. Even if you wanted to, you couldn't - you are utterly alone in this profound confinement.

Enjoyed playing through this. Cute story that leaves you wondering which way it will turn. Game is fluid but gets a bit "rough" when you make too big of explosions. Would be nice to see the speed increase as a sprint option instead as well as a way to fly downward slightly without canceling out of flight. There is something satisfying involved with digging and breaking things. Looking forward to more.
Fun little game, if you like mining. I wish the pick axe speed was faster and maybe reduce the damage. Compared to the demo it is really slow. The walking speed gets way too fast, when you just want to pickup some pieces, maybe a sprint button for the last 3 levels? Thanks for the story :)
A cool little game that feels a bit like "Game about digging a hole". The graphics aren't cutting-edge, but I found the atmosphere and the world-building to be even more compelling. There's just something about it. The physics system for destroying objects like ice and statues is an interesting and welcome feature. The power curve feels satisfying, and the story has a fun and amusing tone on first impression. Looking forward to finishing it and will update my review then. UPDATE after completion: I've now finished the game, and my initial positive impression holds up. It’s a great little title if you're looking for a pleasant and relaxing way to spend an hour or two. I can definitely recommend it for a cozy evening. P.S. A quick technical note: I did experience some minor freezes. A few times during my playthrough, the game would hang for a couple of seconds right after destroying a statue. It's likely due to the complex physics calculations I mentioned earlier. It only happened a handful of times and wasn't a game-breaker, but it's something to be aware of.
Starts off very slow, which motivates you to upgrade your pickaxe and walking speed. I enjoyed this short game after getting both endings.
good game i like it
The game is pretty simple and occasionally stutters, especially when a lot of shards break at once. It is not especially critical here, but still worth mentioning. Do not expect any particularly deep or innovative mechanics from it. That said, I personally liked the game for its setting and story - it is funny and cute. Out of the dozens of incremental games I have seen over the past few months, this is one of the few that also tried to have a proper story, and I think that deserves praise. A pleasant little fable, if you want to relax for an evening and immerse yourself in a tale about a demon trapped in eternal confinement.
Yes, but... It's a little rough around the edges. My initial impressions were largely negative as the game does have some jank, which I'll get to. But by the end of my ~2 hour playthrough, I'm considering another playthrough for the last achievement. So overall, I have a positive impression, but my recommendation only holds if you're the type of person who can look past a few little issues. First, the things I liked!

I was pleasantly surprised by the story as I progressed through it. It's well written and narrates a characterful story behind the various statues you're destroying and why you're in this predicament. I'm curious enough to see the rest of it that I might play through it again to get the other ending!
It feels a tiny bit incremental in that you start off painfully slow and weak and slowly upgrade over time. By the end, you feel like a god. Overall, the meat and potatoes of the gameplay (smashing stuff) felt pretty satisfying to me!
Now for the criticisms, which make or break the game for some people I imagine:

The character controls feel a bit clunky. Pickaxe and spell animations feel confusingly unresponsive, especially in the beginning when they are painfully slow. The weird jetpack-style wing controls get some getting used to.
It can be a bit difficult scrambling around the rubble since the pieces can at times be awkwardly shaped.
You have to run back to the beginning to buy upgrades, which means you have to keep an eye on how full your upgradeable inventory is. I don't mind it because there are upgrades to your movement speed that help. Though it would be nice if the upgrades only applied to sprinting and not your normal walk speed.
I don't think you can save your progress. But it's pretty short!
When you get more powerful, breaking the more complex statues will cause a lot of lag as I guess the game computes the destruction at runtime. Dev, not sure what you're using for this, but maybe look into precomputing the destruction or threading it?
Overall, I had fun with it and might play some more!
