I'm a sucker for exploration games and I have to say this game surprised me. Don't be fooled by the simple looks and sometimes janky mechanics, there is a lot here. I've put more than 5 hours into this game when it was still unfinished and I had a great time exploring all the cool environments. There's lots of variety in art, difficulty and gameplay of the different areas of the game. You can get lost in the world trying to find out what to do next and that might lead you to a secret that you never thought could be there. There's lots of secrets, I'm not even sure I found all of them. The combat is simple, but it can be difficult, frustrating even sometimes but it's always satisfying to just shoot the guns. I'll be honest, if you're looking for a perfect game without flaws this ain't it. But it's definitely the passion project of one man, and it shows in all the effort put into designing literally everything in the game. Nothing really felt like a stock model, or out of place, and I did really like the old school simple looks and I have to say even the jank was entertaining to me. Definitely recommend this for fans of exploring and light puzzles. It's also amusing to find ways to break the game and do sequence breaks. P.S. I love dash hopping. By far my favorite way to move around a game in a while.
Ehh, you can do worse if you've got 8-10 dollars and you are jonesing for a Metroid Prime like.
A neatly style and very fun game that has a surprising amount of depth and care in it, as you explore more and more you get drawn in to find out more about the world. Movement is very fun, combat is also fun as you get more upgrades managing your dash movement and shooting is a nice little mini-game. The enemies are interesting and effects are great. Just when you think you've fully explored an area and that's going to be it the game keeps progressing, lost of secret side areas with neat things to find.
Very cool little game taking you across many different Levels with their own artstyle always on the lookout for little upgrades to make you stronger. Movement and gunplay are pretty fun. Overall a very pleasant experience and well worth the money!
This game beat me up and took my lunch money. 10/10 would recommend.
Jumping is fun, butt crabs are cute
This is a pretty good game. The dash mechanic makes moving around the world very entertaining, which you will be doing a lot since there are a ton of secrets to discover. The game is pretty good about rewarding exploration and checking all the little nooks and crannies. Overall enjoyable.
The screenshots look cool, but my experience trying this game didn't measure up to those. The first environment it puts you in is difficult to navigate. It's black except for some lines in the wall textures, and this makes it hard to see where hallways go. After that, you're dumped into a much more hospitable looking place but with no indication of what to do. I scanned everything I could find and collected all the... sparks, I guess? Then, there was apparently nothing left for me to do. I'm sure there must be more to this, but I wasn't finding it. Scanning is a bit poorly conceived too. When I scan something, it just plops the text results of the scan onto the right side of the screen on top of whatever happens to be over there with no regard for how much contrast the text will have against that background. That left me moving the camera, not because I otherwise wanted to, but to put a darker background behind the scan text so it was readable. Not a great experience. I'd love to play a new take on Metroid Prime. It doesn't have to be as polished as Metroid Prime, but it needs to be more polished than this.

If you like exploring, discovering lore, and metroidvania-ing your way through the world and enemies, then this'll do it for you.
