Try to use fullscreen and its just black and white for some reason. put it in windowed mode and i get the colors but its literally just a small square on my monitor. Wasted $20 on this bull crap
Najczystsza nostalgia...
It's same as Delta Force 1998 with slight graphical improvements, mission and level terrain variety improvements. IT's very glitchy on modern PC's sadly. And I don't think there is a fix for it, yet it is still playable in software mode using Dg-Voodoo. I recommend for people who are into late 90's early 2000's FPS's.
HARİKA BİR OYUN TAM BİR NOSTALJİ
Optimicen o arreglen el juego a Windows 11. Podrían hacer una versión remasterizada por favor. Gracias. Juego DF2 desde que tengo 5 años. Hoy cerca de los 30
all time classic
Underrated classic. Most fun I ever had in online multiplayer.
Played new Delta Force. Decided that this was better.
That's bad luck... All Delta do that.
Ya know, there's this TV-show I used to watch when I was a kid, don't know if it's still on-going. In the finale, one fella had to speed answer 5 questions in 20 seconds with most popular answer possible, based on audience vote. Then there was another fella who had to answer them too, in 30 seconds, BUT if the answer is the same, gotta pick the other one fast. This is where many were failing. Why do I say this? Cause there's barely any difference between Delta Force 1 and 2. How do I speak of the same product without repeating myself? Well, alright, all the basics are the same as Delta 1. What about this one?
Pros:
- Different situations. If the first game was usually clean the base, pick up the stuff, here we have boat trips, train wrecks, chopper flying a bunch of times, ambushes. Interesting change of pace. - New weapons. Now we use SOCOM, including silencer, and M4 with an underbarrel shotgun. For close encounters. - There are more allies than your favorite Alpha and Charlie teammates in some occasions. Heck, even Spetsnaz kicks in at some point. I loved the first mission by how chaotic it was. Had to actually see who I'm aiming at. - Quick missions that put you into scenarios without much of a buildup, instead of 5 campaigns. This one has only 2 - another rebel force and biohazard threat. -Armored vehicles and choppers that shoot you. Now bullets can't stop them that easily. -Night vision googles now don't close your entire screen, but rather middle. I guess it's supposed to be one-eye google cause when you aim, only aiming sight has NVG thing. -Parachuting. Both you and enemies. -That one mission sounded cool on paper - you hijack the train by dropping on it from the chopper. -Ladder building. wow. -Btw, this time I didn't need any fix or anything. Somehow, it just works. Didn't save from occasional crashes, though. Alright, now for the
Cons:
-They give you barrel shotgun 90% of the time. Go raid armored vehicles with that one. I'll watch. Oh, btw, if you switch to rifle before loading shotgun, it glitches out for 30 seconds and you can't use it until you mentally reload it, I guess. -Enemies get broken easily. They shoot through walls, headshot you far away, have perfect visibility at night unlike you. In fact, it gets worse - there's this kill the captain mission, and captain is supposed to hide behind the table. Only thing is - he dissapeared and appeared only to kill you, out of nowhere. What is he, some kind of Future Soldier? -Chopper flights are glitching. The mentioned train mission is a mess cause you fall off chopper and jump on the train. I'm yet to hit it. 7 metres. -In fact, collisions are playing funny on any objects - you jump on those constantly. -There's underwater equipment and such, and at first I was hyped... but you never get to use it. -Allies are still dumb, they never fixed that one. -Quick missions pissed me off. I was expecting till last that it will be fun. It isn't. On druglord mission allies killed ONE guy and died all four. Lovely. So much for the raid. -No graphical or sound improvements whatsoever. -They made SOCOM silenced model, but not SOCOM standard. It's still Spec Ops 45. Lovely. -Am I blind, or that ONE specific quick mission ONLY has boobytraps that are never explained? Just spikes that just stand there, you step on them, you die. Awesome. -I didn't mention it before, but that specific mission - just like similar one in the first game - you have a swamp, and if you prone - you swim. And the swimming speed is 45 MPH. You're a shark in this one. To be honest, on it's own game might be good and fun, if you're up for challenge pixel hunting and one try no save thing. But playing it after 1 I barely found anything... worth it, really. I respect developers, really do, it does feel like they worked on it, with more voice acting and varieties of missions. But objectively, it gives nothing really new. Every improvement comes up with a glitch or a script (meaning: the plot of the mission) that ruins it. You have an oil factory that can explode by an accident shot? You might not even be when that happens, thanks to allies. I'd still recommend it, it's not a BAD game, I know bad games when I see one. I still had fun, BUT also I had much more rage moments. I guess it can go along ONLY if you played the first one, liked it and you want some more. Otherwise - you waste your time. p.s. There was a funny moment - I was supposed to wait for all allies to jump on the boat so it will move to extraction. But Alpha Two got stuck in ladder. I've gone Cole Walker on him for that and shot the poor guy.
You can't control who gets hit, or who falls out of a chopper, or why. It's not your fault. It's just war. 4/10
