Before I write this, the music is freaking awesome, LOVED it, now buckle up. I don't want to ever slate a game, but man this was so bad, I get the idea of sending it back to the 90's, for a cool retro game, but theres so SO SO much wrong with it. For starters, spelling errors in the "how to play" section, is that even forgivable in this day and age? Not sure. Moving on to using a controller, I couldn't find an option to change the controls, so you are expected to use left stick to move, and click right stick to shoot..Can I not use one of my 4 triggers instead? So i was forced to use it on the keyboard, which meant shooting with my mouse, the cursor is ridiculously small, so you constantly lose where you are actually firing and it becomes a nightmare. Theres a back story in the intro (you cant even skip it) the story is 10 seconds long, its based on battlestar galatica, which isn't a bad thing. But once you actually start to play the game, there is no longer a story line, or any cut scenes, or anything with text at all, you are left to guess what to do, no "your mission" or "you died" text. Some of the planets/levels start off like they are going to be great, with instant action and waves, then you clear it, and it all completely stops, i mean completely stops and you have to painfully wait for the cores to re-spawn while the odd random ship happens to pop up and fly in to the wall you've built. To be quite honest, this game just infuriated me, I thought it would be great fun as I love these types of indie games, and as a child of the 90's love going back in time inside modern day releases. I know it's only a small release, but I read the one and only review, and got all excited thinking this is going to sick, and hard AF like a lot of indie games are. Nope no, it wasn't hard, it wasn't good and I regret buying it. Sorry.
Не рекомендую. can't skip the intro simulator 2016 //edit devs actually fixed it, +1 for you guys Well, the game itself is still buggy (misplaced menu buttons, problems with aspect ratios for other resolutions than panoramic - ship choosing menu kinda goes offscreen on resolutions like 1280x1024 for instance), and using specific button for wall thingies (A button on Xbox controller) in campaign sometimes throws me right back into main menu, without explanation. I caught these while barely playing the game (can't really get into it much, as I constantly get thrown back to main menu for some reason). Game kinda feels unfinished, so personally can't really recommend the game as it is now, but it might change in the future, as devs seem to take feedback even from snarky comments. I hope they will do so, until game is fully fixed. On the good side, graphics and music are nice (though sounds on default seem to be much louder than they should be, I felt that I shoot nukes with each shot - it becomes chaos when more players join, but that's just a matter of tuning sound down, so it's just my rambling and bambling at this point). Also local multi, which I enjoy most of all multiplayer modes available in games.
Great game!! At first it is difficult to understand but once you got the hang is very funny and frantic The light and flare effects are amazing Is very frantic and addictive even more with its cooperative mode. Very fun to play with friends and have a laugh with them The game has some bugs , but nothing major and they will be fixed over time Congratulations!
Back to the old days!! Thats the best part of this game wich will get u back to the 90`s arcade machines but with that graphic upgrade that has been growing during the last decade. Its gameplay is very elaborated. its plenty of action but you must have a good strategy to pass every level cause ur core will be under attack very often. It has a local multiplayer mode wich is just madness, very fun to play with another person, and also very fun to play it alone. The effects are very cool, great work there. This was what i was looking for, cause it reminds me to my childhood.
I liked this game a lot, and this review is being made with the thought of this game being made by only 2 people all by themselves, and self pubished. The mechanics are interesting, although there's some space for more depth, but I feel like a really good pitch could be made out of this game. Something really good could be made with a bigger team of people, and some coders (I believe the technical problems come from the fact that both developers are artists, not coders). The controls are good and responsive (I recommend playing it with a controller, rather than Mouse and Keyboard), although it could have benefitted from some layout options, or control mapping. The classes are different enough and mixing them up in coop is really fun. Single player pits you agains increasing difficulty worlds with some mechanical challenges that makes a great experience overall. But beware hard mode, going alone into it is really...well, hard. I can only wish there was online coop, but I guess that implenting it was out of scope. It delivers visually, and it feels really good blowing stuff up with the ships. This is the area that is really kicking it off the park. Gorgeous backgrounds and elegant visual effects are real eye candy, even though it runs on Unity 4. The music is really good and it fits really well the sci-fi theme, can't say much more about it. Regarding UI, it's not easy to keep track of your health and energy without having to force your eyes to the bars. The UI is clean, and elegant, but it could use some resizing of elements and/or placement. Not the best feature of the game, but it gets the job done. Overall, a good bang for the buck, and an interesting and original concept, which is enjoyable even with its flaws(mostly technical ones).
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review, if you want a full review, then please read better reviews then mine

PLEASE NOTE: If I (the reviewer) have played a game that has less than 1 hour of gameplay and is not recommended, means that I did not enjoy or it did not live up to my expectations! Think twice before rating or giving out a comment...
Well... the game runs at 1 to 2 FPS so that's good - 10/10 But on the plus side, the music is really good!
NOT RECOMMENDED :(
This game brings back an 80’s vibe and nostalgia for me. I first tried it in a friend’s house and was impressed with the lighting and overall aesthetic but, frankly, it was too difficult for me. Some days later, as nowadays I tend to have less and less time to play, I thought about buying it and, man, was I right. Today every game seems to be so easy or at least slow paced that you actually forget what was like to try and fail. I find the game strategic and challenging, as every playable character has a unique play style. And I find the frustration actually rewarding. I know, I’m a masochist. :D My favorite feature is the local coop because you can pair up damage dealers, supports, etc. That way the game becomes even more strategic (and I've always loved supporting). So... See you all Defending the Last Colony!
Easy, dull, shallow and repetitive.
