Let's make a twin stick shooter without two sticks lol. If you're playing on controller this game really fn sucks, you have to click push in the right to shoot and can't remap the controls to say something like right trigger? It's fine on mouse and keyboard. Good job making sure all those 10 year olds get carpal tunnel by the time they're 20. Fix the controller support dev. *and I swear if you reply to this with "Thanks!" I'm refunding this game.

Pros: Cheap. Fun take on a stick shooter. Smooth controls and vibrant colors. Cons: Doesn't seem to track high scores. Wasn't able to get the FIRE button to map to my controller (could be programming, could be my ineptitude) I would definitely recommend you pick this up for a good chill out game that can still keep you on the edge of your seat. If there is a score tracker (or one gets added) this could get pretty competitive in my house.

Sehr schöner Shooter der wirklich Spass macht! Ich würde mir noch ein 'Survival-Mode' wünschen um immer höhere Punkte zu jagen. Die 5Level die man spielen kann sind leider schnell durchgespielt.

A copy of Super Star Dust HD on the Playstation, hasn't got all the features of the original definitely doesnt feel as polished or finished either. It lacks a survival mode, the weapon progression is very quick and lacks variety and the few planets in the main game mode are very similar and the boss fights relatively generic. For a basic arcade shooter the graphics are also very basic and not overwhelmingly good to look at. Needs work.

I was really surprised at this game for the price!You can use a joystick and can configure laser and bomb controls.Has good graphics and to me it is definite worth a couple of bucks.

EDITED REVIEW: Decided to replay this on a whim and it's either a bit better than I remember, it got an update sometime since my April 2023 review of 4 out of 10, or my tolerance for low-end Steam games has gotten a lot higher as the level of "game worthy of money" on Steam has sunk lower and lower to the point where this doesn't seem too bad anymore. It's a SuperStardust HD knock off right down to small details like dashing through asteroids, switching weapons, and a vehicle that carries extra bombs you need to blow up. If you're going to copy a game might as well copy a great one, but this is missing a few quality of life features to make it worth strongly recommending. It needs more sound effects and a snappier pace and also some kind of indicator how much time/enemies are remaining in the level you're playing. You have to use the mouse in menus but you can use an xinput controller for everything in-game, including mapping the dash, bomb, and next gun keys to whatever you want. If anything it's really missing score leaderboards, both online and local. It's nothing great but also not so bad, and didn't crash on me this time. Changed review to recommended, especially since it's a dollar. 5/10

Bon petit jeu, le rythme va crescendo mais il y a quelques lenteurs entre les phases. Les graphismes sont chouettes, par contre les sons pourraient être nettement améliorés. La musique n'est pas terrible non plus, elle est sensée rythmer l'action mais on a plus l'impression d'une bonde son jouée aléatoirement...Je recommande quand même !
