Great game to play together with the kids!
Oh boy. I'm not sure how to go about this review. Because on one hand, if this is someone's first game or some kind of student project, it's really nice. It's simple and a little rough around the edges, but sweet. I can see the vision. There are a lot of elements here that feel like someone is testing out how to program game mechanics, yet they are trying to make it a cohesive and enjoyable experience while doing so. However, as a game that you pay money for, even $6 is a bit much to ask for. You can beat this game in under an hour. The models and animations are okay but not great. The scenes are lackluster and sometimes unclear how to navigate. The game in general is kind of clunky and I even experienced some glitches that forced me to restart the game. Not to mention that really weird "choice" the player has to make toward the end in order to get the achievements. I don't want to spoil anything in my review, but basically, you're introduced to a brand new mechanic and are instantly punished for using it. This game isn't great. If someone who was still learning how to make a game showed this to me, I'd think it was amazing! However, without that context, this just feels like a half-baked passion project that wasn't meant to be released to the public. Again, the vision is there, but the game, unfortunately, is not.
Bought this to get 100% achievements on and then saw it only had two achievements. Went ahead and played it, got both achievements but it can't even be displayed as a perfected game. The game runs poorly on my pc, even on lower graphics, which considering what it is, I do not understand. It is a shame as I do like the concept and anything to do with rare furs always interests me...but unless you maybe grab it for free, it is simply not worth it.
This game takes you on a peaceful yet perilous adventure through the world of deer. You don't have a hunger status, but you'll quickly learn the importance of eating and defending yourself against the various dangers lurking in the wild. The game is structured in levels (or chapters), each set in different natural environments. These areas are full of both beautiful scenery and challenging obstacles, often testing your ability to survive. While the challenges can be deadly at times, the game offers a generous respawn system, ensuring that you are always close to where you last failed, allowing you to try again without wasting much time. Overall, it’s an enjoyable experience for anyone who enjoys nature-based exploration games with a touch of survival mechanics. The gentle yet dangerous world will keep you on your toes as you navigate through each chapter.
While this game technically has no issues, it's not so much a game as it is a playable short film. There's not really anything to accomplish or much to do. That being said, it's a neat story (although in my opinion it's pretty generic, kid looses parents, survives to be a content beauty). While it wasn't bad, it wasn't much either. I'm guessing this is a newer creator's work, as they clearly cared about this game. It's just very amature and short-lived work, that could use some more dynamic game play mechanics and terrain design. ( the flashback visions revealing the protagonist's origins really snuffed my interest, im sorry)
