Completed this game in 6 hours across few sittings. Very cosy artstyle. Game started very simple and quite slow, but gameplay turns quite interesting around halfway, doesn't felt too repetitive. It's an emotional setting to the story and fitting atmosphere. Animation could be slightly more polished, a bit stiff in my opinion. Overall I think is good, and much longer than I expected.

J'ai bien aimé, peut-être un peu mal optimisé par endroit, mais ça ne dérange en aucun cas l'expérience. Je pense que ce jeu est parfait pour des ados ou jeunes ados voire peut-être des gamins à partir de 10 ans, puisque le jeu mêle une histoire enfantine fantastique pas choquante à mon avis, puzzle assez poussé, et commandes de jeu vidéo de base.

Magnifique, joli, superbe, inoubliable. L'un des meilleurs scroller 3D auquel j'ai joué.

A short, beautiful and genuinely touching adventure. The game looks gorgeous, but what stayed with me most was the bond between the boy and the deer. Their relationship is told through small gestures, trust and the way they protect each other, without needing much dialogue. It only took me around four hours to finish, but it made me smile, worry and get far more attached to that deer than I expected. A lovely little game that is absolutely worth experiencing.

What a gem of a game. Deer and Boy is a heartfelt game about loss and friendship. It doesn't hold your hand and lets you explore the different possibilities for solving the puzzles. The puzzles are not to difficult, but a few you need to really think about, letting the story unravel at a nice pace. The art direction is incredible and makes you fall in love with this world. I always enjoy a game that makes me feel something and in the end I loved this game.

Beautiful little game. The art style was gorgeous, and some scenes looked like paintings. It was an emotional little adventure, and I liked seeing the deer grow up throughout the story. The game is very short and only took me two evenings, but it still tells a nice story. My only real complaint is the ending scene. I understand the visual style, but the abnormally huge hands completely ruined the moment for me. Still enjoyed it and would recommend.

Adorable petit jeu, remarquablement bien rythmé, ce qui est loin d'être évident sur un cinematic platformer, où l'équilibre entre narration et gameplay se casse vite la figure. L'histoire reste assez classique dans sa trame, mais elle apporte tout de même son lot d'émotion. Visuellement, c'est superbe du début à la fin. Le sound design est aux petits oignons et la musique accompagne les émotions avec beaucoup de justesse. Bref, un excellent moment.
