I'm on the fence between positive and negative. On one hand, it's a collection of good old classic games from a flash era. They are still enjoyable and playable today, if not a little grindy. But I have to lean towards a negative review, because of 2 main issues: 1. The game is buggy. Very buggy. If you're an achievement completionist, expect grind - but a 1 small bug can softlock you from getting one of the achievements, and you have to start all over, nullifying 10+ hours of your progress. That's exactly what happened to me and it's infuriating. 2. The performance has no business being that bad. I'm running this game on a high end PC, and not only the FPS are hard limited (understandable), but more importantly the game feels unreponsive and laggy (not understandable). I felt like it played better way back, via a browser, and for free. I really want to support the developers, but they're not making it easy.
This collection of nostalgic games is still amazing after all these years they aged like wine in any case still very good games.
haganle remake/continuación a Decision Medieval
A collection of flash era games; this one in especific was one of my favorites. Decision I sets the scene: You made the decision to help humanity fight back against the waves of undead, and to do so you must Recon, Clear and Rebuild the Tower and Factory in each sector back to a sustainable territory, making it a safe haven. You need to kill to earn money to spend on the areas or on yourself and your weapons; couldn't get any more simpler. Decision II gives you a whole new city to reconquer and the EXP bars for each weapon, encouraging you to use each until they max out; however, this time you'll be going against tougher and bigger enemies, including some mutants and trolls, be it on the areas or Outside (endless mode for farming EXP or money). Also, collectibles like ATMs and Stashes are not shown on the radar yet. Decision Medieval switches the gun n' run to a melee focused combat; they give you way too many blades to level up, so a inventory system was a great addition. The skills also gave a lot more ways to fight, like charming an enemy to your team or making it go berserk; not only that, the collectibles are now visible on eagle vision (which is a relief). Only problem people have with this one is the grind, since on endgame you'll be rich of crates (resources) and money poor, forcing you to go outside A LOT. Also, Orcs are present, and they hate the zombies, so it's now a three sided war. Decision III went bold and decided to add the NPC system, in which you need to find and recruit certain people you find to get them to help you rebuild, like getting a soldier to man the turret or a builder to repair the factory; this addition is amazing on paper and it really is until the midgame, but as endgame arrives the game forces you to WANDER EVERYWHERE to find that single Engineer you need for the final upgrade on your last factory (this could have been fixed with an upgrade that could make NPCs switch jobs, like a School). Also, one thing I've seen on this one is that some maps and enemies are just reskins of things you could find in Medieval (Mutants are just reskined Orcs, even the trolls). Altough we do have some bugs and perfomance issues, this is still a great game from 2010-2014, and I'm happy that I could not only replay them but also 100% them. Now, for the achievements: In short, play all of them and finish all of their in-game achievements, with a few caveats: Decision I: you have 40 days to recon all areas and find three dead soldiers, so rush tower and do tower assaults and DO NOT MAX OUT AREAS EARLY, since you do not have the option to wander yet. Also, when maxing out areas, remember to build ALL of the tower types, since you need to kill a bunch with each type. Decision II: way easier, just remember to rush Detector and Hacker III. Decision Medieval: rush Eagle Vision and Picklock III, and prepare for a lot of grinding. Try to let them capture your territory, since every recon tends to net you 10k. Decision III: rush Detector III and Hacker III for profit, send everyone to base except a few soldiers, civilians and engineers (the last two are VERY important and give you money each day, and the soldier is used to upgrade the tower), and also keep a builder/ranger on team to farm materials. Don't worry on losing territory, each recon tends to net around 10k. Other than that, here's what you should know about the jobs: * Soldier: save them for tower and shelter upgrades; * Captain: use them damage/money upgrades and for your team later (RPGs); * Ranger: save them for Decoy upgrades and for your team later (MINIGUNS); * Engineer: SAVE THEM, you need 3 to max out each factory and a few for the wall upgrades for a single tower; * Builder: save one for each factory and the wall upgrades, then use the rest to upgrade the factory performance; * Citizen: save one for each Team Size upgrade, then keep the rest in your team to help you with upkeep costs and net you a nice sum each day.
