Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
DEATHMARK is an occult, table‑top social deduction game where up to 8 players sit around a table, submit their cards or other actions secretly, and watch the chaos ensue. Bluff, redirect, protect, put on trial and betray your so-called friends. Can you survive the DEATHMARK?
Untainted: Uncover the Corrupted and eliminate them before you are eliminated using cards or by trialing out suspicious cultists.
Corrupted: Eliminate the Untainted and avoid being discovered at all costs.
Selection Phase: Everyone selects cards or actions and, if required, targets. Then submits them to the entity using their stamp.
Chaos Phase: The entity processes all cards simultaneously, will you gain information this turn? Perhaps your friend will steal one of your cards. Or maybe you'll receive the DEATHMARK? Chaos awaits...
Discussion Phase: Discuss with the entire table about the events of the current turn. Did your suspicions fall on someone else? Will you perhaps start a trial against a player you suspect is against you? Be careful, you only get one of those per game...
Repeat: The game keeps going until a team is declared the winner (or the host of your lobby loses power all of a sudden). The winning team gets to ascend to the astral plane, hooray!

4 to 8‑player online social deduction with simultaneous card submissions.
Two factions, hidden roles — The Corrupted team knows who they are to each other, but not who is what specific role.
Multiple roles with 2 Ability cards + a charge‑based Sigil to flip a round.
Private lobby codes for quick party nights.

Who's Mark and who's trying to kill him.
I've been watching the development for this game for a while now, and I've wanted to try out the gameplay, but not one person was in the game. I'm not going to pay for a game to sit and wait for a lobby to open. Deathmark requires at least 4 players to start a game, and from what I've seen from the gameplay, it's not all that impressive, and that might be the reason there were no lobbies, and with the minimum player count being 4, that means you need a full friend group or randoms just to get started, which is a huge barrier currently, and I refunded the game without getting into a single game. The developers banked on the fact that people from Rec Room would buy and play this, but very few people came to even play, whether that be platform difference, or just not enough interest about a game outside of RR. There is also no marketing outside of this either, and even with 800 people in their discord server, this game had an all time peak of 28 players, and at the time of writing this, has zero active players. There is also an achievement for launching the game (not playing a game, LAUNCHING it), and only 38% of players, at the time of writing this, have got that achievement. A lot of the features that were promised initially ended up getting postponed or not even delivered and it just feels like a demo rather than a game right now, and I understand how early access games work, but this game was released in a market of an already over saturated genre, so releasing it in an early access phase with nothing really unique in a market of already completed games was a bad decision to me. I also think the devs should’ve gone the crowdfunding route if they were really pressed for money, a game like UNBEATABLE did that, and got over $300,000, and built a community way before launch, and a game like Deathmark heavily depends on that kind of player base, which it currently doesn’t have. Something that really annoyed me was seeing the Lead Director publicly state multiple times that there wasn't enough time to work on the game, while seeing their discord activity state they were playing games for multiple hours in the day, sometimes for more than 12 hours at a time. I'm not saying developers can't take breaks, but telling your community you don't have time while your PUBLIC discord status says you’re playing games more than you seemingly work on it is not a great trust factor for me. This game had labor put into it, I can tell, game dev is hard, but in its current state, I can’t recommend this game to people, even if it is on sale, and in their announcements, this game plans to go up in price (above the $5 mark), but I would be shocked if this game does that due to how unfinished it currently is.

As a former Murder V3 player, I think new players should know where this game came from. The developers previously created Murder V3 in Rec Room, a social deduction game that built a large community around running around maps, surviving, investigating, and interacting with other players in real time. Unfortunately, that game is no longer available. I tried DEATHMARK hoping it would capture what made Murder V3 special, but for me it doesn't. The shift to a card game removes the very things that brought me and many others to the original game. The suspense of moving around the map, the social interactions, and the active gameplay have been replaced by mechanics that simply aren't as enjoyable to me. I respect the developers' right to make the game they want to make, but as someone who followed them because of Murder V3, I feel they left behind the core gameplay that made their original creation great. If you're looking for a card game, you may enjoy it. If you're coming here expecting the feeling that Murder V3 gave players, be aware that this is a very different experience.
