Impostor Online is a 4–16 player social deduction game of murder, lies, and paranoia. Every match you're dealt a secret role: investigate, heal, deceive—or kill. Someone at the table wants you dead. Find them first, or make sure they never find you.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Impostor Online is a multiplayer murder mystery and social deduction game for 4–16 players, inspired by Werewolf and Town of Salem. Every match, you're dealt a secret role. Someone at the table wants you dead. Find them first—or make sure they never find you.
Every night, killers strike while other roles investigate, heal, or scheme in secret. When morning comes, everyone argues, accuses, lies, and votes to execute a suspect. Repeat until one faction claims victory.
Three factions compete for control of the game:
Civilians hunt down every killer before it's too late.
Impostors eliminate the town until they outnumber the Civilians.
Neutrals pursue their own unique win conditions.
The Impostors are the murderers. They recognize one another at night, coordinate in secret, and choose one player to eliminate. They win once they outnumber the Civilians and no other killers remain.
The Investigator is the town's eyes. Each night, investigate one player and discover their exact role. The hard part is what you do with the truth. Reveal it too soon, and you might become the killers' next target.
The Nurse heals one player each night. Guess right and the killers strike an empty bed. But she can't heal the same player two nights running—and nobody ever thanks you for the kill that didn't happen.
The Hunter doesn't go quietly. If they're murdered at night or lynched during the day, they get one final shot for revenge. Lynch carefully.
The Killer has no allies. They murder one player each night and win only by becoming the last person alive.
The Jester thrives on chaos. Their goal: get lynched. Act suspicious, make terrible arguments, and let the town do the rest. Once lynched, they unleash a live bomb that can be passed from player to player before exploding.
Morning brings accusations, desperate defenses, and a public vote. Read the room, bluff with confidence, and trust no one.

Игра мертва... На регионах нет никого чтоб кто-то играл. Если играть это чисто с друзьями. Сказать о том работает ли она с друзьями я тоже не могу. А пока-что ставлю на ней крест❌
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Asset Flip! "Impostor Online" is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
This is yet another garbage tier ripoff of Werewolf/Mafia/Town of Salem/whatever, a social deduction crapfest with not enough players, and a bunch of assets stolen and plagiarised from Synty Studios. So, "Impostor Online" is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Impostor Online", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. The developers abandoned this 6 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. It's free for now, but the developer intends to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access... but considering the poor public reception, it's likely this will not be one of the 25% of games that ever gets finished and leaves Early Access. In terms of public reception, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This product features a small number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the product launched on Steam, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling, these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law (16 CFR § 465.2, 15 U.S.C. § 45)

Warning: Unity License Violation This product violates the Unity Asset Store license, terms and conditions.
Because this is almost exclusively made up from Unity store assets (Synty asset packs from the store), it's in violation of the Unity Asset Store Terms of Service and EULA. Specifically, this part:
Subject to the restrictions set forth in this EULA, Licensor hereby grants to the END-USER a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual license to the Asset solely: (a) to incorporate the Asset, together with substantial, original content not obtained through the Unity Asset Store, into an electronic application or digital media that has a purpose, features, and functions beyond the display, performance, distribution, or use of Assets (“Licensed Product”) as an embedded component of that Licensed Product, such that the Asset does not comprise a substantial portion of the Licensed Product
All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.

Fun with friends, but hard to find public games if you're solo. Hope to see more maps and roles added in the future
OSH AFRIKA HERE: My friends and I had been searching for a good Werewolf/Mafia-style game for a while, but most of what we tried just didn’t hit the mark—until we found Imposter Online. This game instantly caught our attention. It’s light, fun, and surprisingly creative. The round chairs system and unique voting mechanics (finger pointing) really funny, You can tell a lot of thought went into this. I genuinely hope it gets the recognition it deserves.
