Death's Gambit: Afterlife

Great ideas, bad (technical) execution. I love the atmosphere, the tone and humor, how the enemies and biomes are varied. The game has some interesting bugs, annoying visual glitches, and a HUGE UI/UX problem. The skill trees are very meh, although some specific weapons and skills make for nice combinations. Combat feels sluggish a lot of the time, especially when parrying is important. The mapping on joystick is... ehhh I'd still recommend this with a super heavy discount since the ideas are really cool to play with a bit.

Очень душная игра. Одни из немногих метроидваний которую я забросил. Точнее сказать даже первая. Сэйвы находятся относительно далеко от боссов, не интуитивная игра. Много не нужной прокачки, сначала дают один класс, потом другой. Этж не Диабло какой то. Хотели закосить под холлоу найт только со своей стилистикой? Не получилось от слова совсем. Короче отстой, я разочарован. Не рекомендую. Хотя являюсь фанатом такого жанра, но это не играбильно

Oh boy, I love this game! I wasn't expecting anything special, but it completely surprised me. I love the world, the music, the lore, THE HUMOR(!) It's a great metroidvania that's quite challenging without feeling unfair. Highly recommended!

Juegazo la verdad, eso si, que este capedo a 60 fps y algunos tirones con jefes que te pueden costar la run no lo hace perfecto y mucho menos para un souls like 2D, si podes con eso, no te vas a arrepentir de darle una oportunidad.

Its a wonderful game loving it so far a must play.

Nice art, design, and gameplay. Use a guide to get the true ending, it's a bit obtuse.
