很有意思的小游戏,游戏性很足,重复游玩性高。据说汉化很麻烦,但还是有汉化模组了,可以一试。
My favorite roguelike of ALL TIME!!! Sure it says I only have 45 hours, but that doesn't count the many many hours I've clocked in from my days as an iPad kid and on every phone I have owned after that. I will always come back to DR2C. Bashing zombie heads will never get old.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

*Note that I have played this game with a friend on remote play where we: got all the upgrades and beat the game at least once. I decided to purchase it for myself, with the intention to play with others. Judging from this review, you may see why no one wants to play this game*
An Enigma of Zombie Games
Death Road to Canada is an arcade-like, pixel action game where you play the role as some loser going to Canada. It really is THAT simple. Basically, the car is driven automatically and you are stricken with "events" that can either be good or bad. You will them have the option to explore locations you come across for resources (usually just "supplies", medicine, fuel, and weapons). To say the structure is simplistic is an understatement, to say this is easy would be inaccurate. You will be swarmed by up to hundreds of zombies in locations, and your character has limited stamina and durability on weapons. You run out while surrounded, and it's pretty much game over. You have a companion who helps a little, but don't rely on them. Your main goal during the journey is honestly to make sure you are fed and to keep your vehicle filled with gas. Fail to do that, and you have to walk, which increases chance of damage or desertion. I want to say the combat is fun, but you really don't want to do it because you want to spend as little time as possible in locations as you can. And you want to get to Canada as quickly as you can. During the trip, sometimes there's, like, silly events which are fun, but you see them a few times and you see them all. I saw another review that said "Unless you are dedicated you won't touch this game again. Amazing mechanics though." I would have to agree on the first part. Once I beat the game my first try, I never picked up this game again. Would I say this game has amazing mechanics? I'd say they're highly optimized for what this game is, but nothing particularly mind blowing. This game is $15, I honestly don't feel it's worth that price, but I put more hours (ignore this account's total) than a normal user would because I'm a completionist.
Pros:

I like the design of this game a lot. You are thrust into high-stress environments where it's very much "grab and run" as you try to avoid being overwhelmed by zombies.
The arcade style is fun, and coming across unique events and characters adds to the entertainment value.
If you can get into the combat with a high-stat character, it is also fun, but technically pointless.
I won't lie by saying getting to Canada did feel like an accomplishment.

Cons:

The game's simplicity is its downfall. Basically, the crux of the game is exploring extremely similar locations while you click through (or don't click through) repetitive events, which often give you negative penalties. In these locations, you mainly want to search everything, avoiding zombies. Its novelty wears off quickly.
So, there's a point system to this game that gives you special stuff to unlock things to encourage further play, but as I said earlier I didn't feel compelled to play more, which is really unfortunate. Because, whenever I think back to this, it's just running out of stamina, frantically searching, and being subject to RNG. It did really at times feel less skill-based, and more "okay, I guess I have to deal with that now". There's a difference between a challenge and artificial difficulty, and I think this game really highlights the latter.
I played this on Remote Play Together with a friend before purchasing it fully. I will also agree with others that the quality wasn't the best, but it may have just been my connection.
Water isn't separated from food.
Verdict: 5/10
An absolute GEM of a game. its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun to play, even solo. it don't matter its just plain old good fun. you can minmax you can play it loose who cares. released 9 years ago and STILL gets updates
Game is okay, the end-game difficulty curve goes so off the rails though that it makes it frustratingly hard
This game is so awesome! A very cool roguelike that is very similar to Oregon Trail and Super Amazing Wagon Adventure but with a zombie twist :)
