About
DEATH PENALTY is a perilous dungeon crawling game where the odds are stacked completely against a human like you. Your only hope at survival is to carefully traverse the demonic fortress by lurking in the shadows and scavenging for anything that might give you a fighting chance.
Tread lightly. Lurk in the shadows. Getting discovered is a death sentence. They'll tear you to shreds if you leave them any opening.
You'll have to use clever tactics and stolen weapons to even have a chance of gaining the upper hand.
Navigate the sprawling, interconnected corridors. You'll need to go deeper if you want to see the light of day again. Unlock the dungeon from the inside out. There's got to be a way.
You're practically naked. Scavenge the bodies of those before you. Treat your wounds, arm yourself, and take back your life.

fear and hunger if it was DREADFULLY scary and atmospheric darkness surrounds you at every corner get it and try it if the horror side missed the mark in fear and hunger but you liked the gameplay
Very scary game, better art style and lore/ backstory then F&H 1 imo. Wish it was easier to see and my screen stopped turning red(Biggest complaint). Excited to learn about the lore of this game.

this game is Hard but here some tips, some places you can sleep to save the game (have cooldown for use again) normaly safe rooms, all enemys can see you in the light but in the dark everyone is a little blind, use the darkness to hide you and avoid fights, kill Enemys and smash hers bodys make the vision more clean and remove some bad status, (drink water do this too) some enemys the weak spot is the head and you can hit our heads easy but you need damage for this, if the enemy have a lot of members use items to hit all in once, you will die a lot of times in this game but you need be stronger to win and survive in this hell, thank you for reading ^w^
wow best game I've ever played. 10/10 would recommend
solid
What a monumental let down. The demo was so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good and promising. I don't understand how you go from a good demo to a complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game like this. Wtf is with dying and then changing characters? Then dying again and you're dragged to a prison. Then if you die again you get dragged somewhere and a fight starts, but the fight is completely irrelevant because even if you lose that fight the enemy just vanishes like you won and this goes on for a few more deaths until you finally get a game over. I spent hours remapping and trying different protons to get the game to stop crashing on steam deck and to get dash to work. I finally got the crashing to stop, but NOTHING would get the dash to work which is completely game breaking. This is a complete letdown for Fear and Hunger fans. If you're going to rip off a game at least don't make it suck this badly.
Well haven't finished the game yet but so far I'm enjoying it. for one the game has a pretty beautiful design that really resonates with me, also the first time i got into the game i had a pretty unique fever dreamish experience as the game doesn't explain anything to you and just drops you in the middle of everything so you'll have to experience and make things out for yourself which I LOVE and make me way more immersed. The gameplay is heavily inspired by Fear And Hunger with all the limb cuttings and stuff which was a pretty nice treat for me. The game's atmosphere is also pretty spot on and at times it startled me which doesn't happen too often so that was nice also the whole game feels way more engaged story wise than most other RPGMaker games which is also pretty nice. Overall these days not every game gets my attention but this one surely did and I'm looking forward to finishing the game. And thanks to my friend for gifting me this game <3
A brand new Funger-esque game but with satanic tones and jesus christ, it is even more chaotic, deranged and SPOOKY than Fear and Hunger itself, and that is saying something already. Cons: It is confusing at first, the ceiling for acquiring knowledge to properly fight against the barrage of enemies is something heavy to deal with, specially because the game does not allow you to properly retreat back to familiar grounds to try new things or routes. You have to restart the whole game to stay in one area. Enemy damage is a lil bit too much at the beginning. I know you are meant to lose in the initial area, but again, it doesn't give you much room to experiment when you basically get nuked instantly at times. Making the tutorial area a bit more permissive yet still punishing (as intended) would go along way to make the trip into properly getting into the game a bit more manageable.
