A very fun Deck builder with a interesting story.
It's a good game! I think the closest comparison here is Into the Breach -- the game is much more on-rails than the deckbuilding aspect would suggest IMO, but it does a very good job embedding card strategy into the hex grid. So it is not really a "pure" card game, even less than a game like Slay the Spire IMO, but it compensates for that by having very involved turn-to-turn puzzle strategy (which STS does not, >50% of STS turns are pretty simple). The art is also absolutely amazing, it has that surreal hyper light drifter quality to the pixel art where it's full of opaque feeling. Lovely to see all the environments.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beautiful pixel art with a great set of deckbuilding mechanics. Each of the areas are distinct, and well-defined with their own mechanics. But there still is some overlap to bridge between each of the areas, whether you fully clear one by one, or dabble a bit of each, your deckbuilding has many options. With many deck slots, you are encouraged and enabled to try different setups and experiment sometimes even building decks for specific fights. Boss fights are interesting and play into their regions, side quests and mini-stories scattered in each area fleshing out the world. I had a fantastic time except for a couple fights penultimate to the end. It felt they were overtuned, and one of them a rediculous RNG fest to get through which flew entirely in the face of everything in the game up until then. I also feel like there could have been better indication of some game mechanics whether they were in play/activated, rather than having to keep a running tally of what had gone on in the battle/turn. Either marking off keywords or a visual indicator. It would also help if we could have a more complete view of keywords and cards- you can only get tooltips in-battle and there is one set of cards that turn into other cards which you can't view the combinations. For a game that is otherwise very good about giving you all the information/tools to work from, it was a dissonant bit of game design I had to make my own notes for.
My favorite deck-builder to date. I am thoroughly impressed in the variety of enemies, cards, perks, and freedom you have to choose how you approach each battle. The soundtrack is absolutely fantastic IMO. I also find this more approachable than StS and it's not roguelite which is a definitely positive for a lot of people. I also love that positioning plays a factor in the game, something I haven't experienced in a deck-builder yet. If I had one complaint it's that while I love pixel art, I feel this would hit a little harder with more fleshed out design....but given how well it plays it honestly does not matter. I did see some users complaining about difficulty, but I found it to be more than fair - you just have to be smart about the cards and perks you choose. The only large jump in difficulty is with the final level. Highly recommend, even at full price + DLC. Following this dev now.
Art is fantastic. It's a very common sentiment. You should get the game for the art alone. Game mechanics however are questionable. Why should I be forced to make a subpar deck again from the boring neutral cards at the start? Why is that movement is tied to mana so that you are incentivized to wait for them to approach? Why are the spirit cards you get are so anemic? I got past the first area, got really annoyed at the beginning of cold realm. Tried to go through a few fights with hurl rocks, only to counter healers and anti stall mechanics. The first few crafts in the new are underwhelming too, so I just see promises of grind without the payout of being able to use cards I've accumulated in another area. The devs would say "you can use it it's only 1 extra mana". You only have 5 and it's shared with movement. It's effectively prohibitive. Just watch a let's play. Soak in the atmosphere and skip the game. You are not really missing out.
Good game. The story is a bit too on the nose but it makes up for it by the nicely melancholic atmosphere, art style, and enjoyable deck building. Parts of some regions in the game got somewhat frustrating, but not enough to make me want to stop playing.
Great deck builder with interesting mechanics and story.
Great tactical grid-based deckbuilder.
