Death Fungeon

Although the art style is engaging enough, the repetitive gameplay loop and agonisingly slow death transition made Death Fungeon a real slog to play, even for short periods.

Unpolished, but pretty fun. The biggest issue is clipping into spikes and the lack of a "restart chapter" button or a chapter select menu.

quite a good game, but it would be good if i could choose my stage to get my missing diamond with achievement for motivation to clear the game :)

trash controls

Short game, with just enough novelty to keep stringing you along until the end. However, most rooms boil down into a waiting game, where your only option is to do nothing until a guard looks or walks away. It gets very old, very fast, entering a room and having to wait 5-10 seconds over and over again. Other issues are the lack of precision, especially when wall-jumping over pits of spikes. In the final area, you will find yourself repeatedly dying from the game deciding it didn't want to respond to your inputs; or you'll end up shifting sideways into spikes, as you try to catch onto a small patch of blocks on a wall that is otherwise a vertical face of nothing but spikes. So... for such a short game, the amount of boring, wait-for-the-guard-to-turn-around puzzles and deaths from imprecision is unacceptable. Even if this game is $1 on sale, there's much better ways to spend your time.
