About
DEADSIDE blends your favorite Survival Shooter elements in a fast-paced open world where progression is swift and loot is plenty. Obtain valuable gear, and store it in a safe zone. Or build your own fortress in the wild, securing it with turrets, making it cozy while boosting your stats, and use it to store your vehicles and loot. Traverse the world by foot, car, motorcycle, boat, or a Quick Travel metro system. Make friends or enemies. Join PVP or PVE servers. Explore the vast open world filled with challenging events, and raid your enemies.
We have 3 main types of servers in DEADSIDE 1.0: PVP, PVE, and PVP scheduled raids
Note on all 3 types of servers your player disappears when offline with all loot on your body
PVP servers provide an intense hardcore experience where players can engage in fights, and can raid each other’s bases with no limits.
PVE servers are a more chill experience where you can interact with other players, and can’t fight each other or raid/steal each other’s bases. We recommend this mode to learn the game’s mechanics.
PVP scheduled raids have specific times on the server when raiding is allowed
Nobody likes running forever in open world survival games. DEADSIDE has boats, motorcycles, cars, and a Fast Travel System to easily get around the map. Secure your vehicles with codelocks and use them for storage.
Build a secluded shack or a secured fortress. We made it easy to build with an intuitive tool, and added plenty of comfort items which are useful for gameplay boosts. Secure your base with passive defenses such as turrets and traps. Store your vehicles, and keep your hard earned loot safe from raiders.
Explore the forests, rivers, and settlements of this post-soviet apocalypse. You can build anywhere outside of settlements. Challenging NPCs patrol the map, and your progression is solely decided by your own skill. There are no levels or bars. Your level is your skill and the equipment you acquire.
It's all about the ballistics and variety of weapons. Choose from 32 firearms, and modify them with scopes, expanded mags, flashlights, silencers and other modules. Feeling tactical? Setup tripwire traps, respawn bags, use smoke grenades for cover. The combat system is designed to be hardcore. Combine this with an intuitive missions system with clearly marked objectives on the map and you have the perfect hardcore survival shooter.

Game had serious potential. I really wish it would have succeeded... lack of updates and additional content alongside the cheaters killed this game quickly. Over 500k new players at one point and they fumbled the game ! make the game free to play already and add a battlepass and cosmetics you can buy. leaderboards
I gave this game more chances than it deserved.
это просто имба, поверьте, попробовать стоит
Feels like Rust and DayZ had a baby and was named Deadside
AI are way over powered, You dont even respawn with full health, all the players horde the vehicles in base so you HAVE to walk everywhere, god forbid you die trying to get back to your body bc it will despawn. this game took all the worst parts of dayz and tarkov and mushed it all into one.
No support for rusian developer!
CRAPPY DAYZ KNOCKOFF ASSET PACK MONEY GRAB
I started playing after version 1.9 came out, so I have no experience with previous versions. My review is based entirely from a PvE solo player's experience. This game is all about the grind. You will run around the map and run far. Everything seems far away. This is because logistics in this game is poor. Vehicles are not common. Sure you'll see other players with vehicles, but you'll likely be one of those who doesn't have one. At least not yet. It's not hard (as in difficult) to acquire and keep a vehicle, it's just a pain in the ass to do so. You have to go out and find one somewhere. Once you do, it will likely need gasoline, so you'll need to find a fuel container first. Once you get on the vehicle, you'll have to do more in order to keep it. Because once you dismount, anyone can take over it immediately. So you can't just park your vehicle right out front of the trader shop, or any point of interest, and expect your newly claimed ride to always be there. You have to secure ownership of the vehicle by locking it. I won't go into further details on what it takes to own a vehicle. I'll just say that I ended up running around on foot most of the time. Although fast travel exists, it is very expensive! It costs $6,500 of in-game money every time you use fast travel. Because of this ludicrous pricing, I never used it. I'd much rather spend $6,500 on gear, and practically everything in this game is expensive. Player character inventory is lackluster. You can only carry so much (more like so little), even with upgraded gear. The very limited amount of things you can carry was a major annoyance for me with this game. It makes no sense of how you are limited to how much you can carry on your person. You have four articles of clothing: jacket (3 or 4 slots), pants (3 or 4 slots), vest (up to 12 slots), and backpack (up to 12 slots). Three weapon slots (two long guns, and either a knife or a pistol in the third slot). You can also carry various items on your hotkeys. In my opinion, the backpack should be upgradeable to 36 slots or even more. With all the running around back and forth in this game, one may eventually get tired of not being able to carry more all at once. Speaking of running around, I found myself doing a lot of that. Sure in all games you run around everywhere, but in this game, running around feels like a painful grind in itself. When an event pops up, you are likely to be far away from it most of the time and have to travel on foot unless you are one of those players who has their own locked vehicle. Along with the limited amount of stuff you can carry, you will see yourself returning to your base or the trader way too often just to offload stuff. Creature variety is severely lacking in this game. There are only a handful of animal types (deer, wolves, and ducks). Would've been cool to be chased down by an occasional bear or cougar, but there aren't any. There are fish, but you can only see them after you catch them. There are a variety of weapons, but I heard that there were even more weapons available in the game prior to version 1.9, but many weapons were removed. There are only two permanent trader NPCs in the game, one in the north and one in the south. There is also a third trader that spawns occasionally at a random location on the map. Each permanent trader has its own storage space where you can store a limited amount of items permanently. However, the storage space is exclusive at each trader, meaning what you store at one trader won't be accessible at the other trader. Players who are accustomed to a universal bank type of storage access may likely be disappointed. Last but not least, there are no female characters in the entire game! You can't choose to be female and there are no female NPCs. There's a wall poster of a bikini girl that you may come across once in a great while, but that's about it. I mean, come on, what kind of a planet where only men exist. With no females in the game, the men must've been born somehow. Are we all clones? Here are a few beginner tips. There are four trader reputation levels. I suggest grinding to get to reputation level 4 as soon as possible. You'll then have access to purchase higher end gear that will enable you to defeat military NPCs more easily. There are three items in the game that raise rep with the trader when selling these items: cigarettes, watches, and scrap metal. Just run around all over the map and look for these three items, then sell them to the trader. At the very least, get to trader rep level 3 as a top priority. The death penalty in this game is a half naked corpse run with the risk of losing everything on your corpse. You respawn with only pants and a knife. Be warned that your corpse only lasts for ten minutes, so don't delay. Once your corpse is gone, you'll lose everything that was on your corpse. You may place up to 15 sleeping bags anywhere on the map. These are your death respawn points that you can select when you die. Without a sleeping bag placed, the game will randomly decide where you will respawn and it could be far from where you were killed. If you're about to enter a more dangerous area, place a sleeping bag out of aggro range so that you won't have a long run back to your corpse should you get killed. A sleeping bag placed inside one of your bases is permanent, while one placed outside of your base will disappear over time. You must be crouched to knife melee an attacking wolf. I found this out the hard way during a half naked corpse run. Get the Mosin sniper rifle, requires trader rep level 3, as early as possible. It's effective against military NPCs from afar. Not to be confused with the entry-level Mosin-K rifle, which is good, but not as great as the Mosin. Upon completing an outdoor mission, head to the loot box immediately and loot it before someone else steals the loot. Once a mission is complete, anyone can loot the entire contents, even if they did not contribute anything towards the mission. The way this was implemented is a poor decision by the developer. If you solo a mission, anyone nearby can suddenly loot the box. If another player was active with you on the mission, there is no fair way on who gets what. Whoever clicks the fastest could get the better loot (i.e. weapons, armor, blueprints) inside the box. Based on what I've read online, this game was a better experience prior to version 1.9. I do not recommend this game unless you love to grind and run far everywhere. At the very least, this game is not worth it at full price, so wait for a sale. I paid ten bucks.
Decent game with decent foundation to build on, unfortunately the devs seem to waste this potential. The main reason is they don't allow players to host their own servers. They seem to have a deal with a couple of overpriced, scummy server providers so this will likely never change.
